i hate christmas because i dont like all this fake enviroment.
some people are hungry and we celebrate the born of jesus..
that sucks... all that lights are waste of energy and money..
we spend money for lights and gifts and no one cares about
the humans..im from greece but i believe this is happen all over the world..

im not a fan of christmas because it costs too much, its been years since i bought anything for anyone, and i dont want anything in return.

my idea of a good holidays during the christmas time would be "renting a cottage with a few friends, doing some activities, then having a big christmas meal, then sitting by the fire and having a few drinks and smokes....


but i guess if you have kids its much different, if i had kids i would be more into the buying gifts for sure....

It's all bullshit, jesus wasnt even born on dec 25, he wasnt even born in december. This was a fictitious holiday made up to compete with the pagans and their festival of the winter solstice.

i mean no harm and am not by any means trying to push religion off on anyone here but i celebrate christmas every year as it is the birthday of jesus christ my lord and savior. i do buy my kids christmas presents as they are children and have not truly learned the meaning of christmas, i however do not buy presents for grown people my wife included. (she is lucky if she gets and anniversary present lmao) reading posts like this sadden me as day after day i hear more negative bullshit about how someone feels about someone else's religion. this country was founded on the backs of god fearing men and women who were looking for a better place to raise their families and live their lives. so many people are bitching about schools having morning prayer and christmas trees in them instead of worrying about important issues like wtf is going on with our country. why everyone is wanting to jump up and down about christians and christian holidays and practices if you dont have anything nice to say then shut the fuck up its that simple.

i personally have never seen faith move a mountain but i have seen what it will do to a skyscraper

I dont know about you guys but people say hi more around christmas....they also seem more helpful and polite...the streets lighted up with dancing colors...snow covered lawns and trees..cheerful songs playing in all stores...people wearing funny hats...partys

Dont get wraped up in what it isnt....take it for what it is...and it is truly a cheerful time for most...

I think some of you are too stuck on where christmas came from or what its about. Who cares? When I think of christmas I dont think of jesus, or its history, or what its about. Christmas to me is sugar cookies, lots of lights, decorated trees, frosty, rudolph, santa, island of misfit toys, charlie brown, lots of gifts, salvation army doods dressed up ringing a bell, holiday music.

Theres 11.5 months of boring nothingness around. Do yal really need to bitch about the few measly weeks christmas is around? Get the fuck over it....
