over here in the uk before sewerage systems were invented certain people would pick up the human sewerage from the (privi's) toilets at about 3 o'clock in the morning and cart them to the feilds for fertilization and thats why metal detectorists would find button's and old coins that were lost down the sh*t hole ... so if it was good enough for them in those days ..its good enough for nowadays imo

You humans are very specie-centric. You have no qualms about using exotic bat guanos, but where do all those bats go at night and what do they do? You could be toking on some herb that was fertilized with vampire bat crap that was riddled with mad-cow disease or some aids-infected whore from Indonesia.(Okay, that was from a really bad movie.)
Nutrients are nutrients to a plant and they don't care where they come from, from a contented cow in California or from a fast food burrito at Del Taco. (which, incidentally, will produce an abundant supply of ferts rather quickly.)
In the end we all become a pretty good fert source, but some quacks would find composting Grannie in the back yard a bit disturbing, if not downright distaseful.
More is the pity, as I am a firm believer in recycling and careful resource husbandry.
Who knows? Turning Grannies into ganja may become the new wave in recycling science.
The bright side to all this, in our current state of affairs, is that the 98 cents you used to be worth as a pile of recyclable chemicals will soon be close to $100 bucks.
Almost like making money in your sleep...

If I was going to go the full recycling route I would get a pig to eat the feces then use the pigs feces to create manure with, it's a double win clean compost and fresh pork. or maybe use the pigs feces to feed a work farm and you'll have a triple win. worms= food of the future

I don't think it was shut down because of the information but because of thread being ruined by others saying, "OMGWTFBBQ! GROSS! LOL!" The thread was promising, but quickly degraded into childish posts, some of have trickled in here a bit.it certainly was shut down because people were acting foolish. i started that thread to get real information. luckily before it was shut down i did get some good info, and also a couple people posted on my wall after the thread was closed. I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WAS A PLACE I'D RUN INTO CENSORSHIP AND REPRESSION OF INFORMATION.
anyway there's been a couple threads on humanure. you can't shit directly on your plants, especially if you've got a stomach ache. you gotta compost that shit (lol). that book people have been referring to is available for free online at journey to forever (best site ever?).

If you are an experienced composter who can maintain the temperatures needed to destroy pathogens, then human waste should not be a problem. The Humanure Handbook is a good book from what I have heard from my friends and non-cannabis farmers who have been composting for years.

Get insects to process the faeces (Hermetia illucens), poultry and fish (or pigs) to process the insects, and you eat the poultry and fish. This can remove you from putting faeces near your food. Except for the poultry and fish (and pig) manure of course, cos that's good for your garden.

absolutely disgusting, humanure is an idea from India, where most people are vegetarians, manure for plants does NOT come from carnivores.....poop from plant eating farm animals is the bomb anyway, this is almost as dumb as "vegan" plant food.......who comes up with these retarded ideas? farm animal poop IS vegan because they don't eat meat.....

My buddy bought over his Sour D grown with his own "home made" fertilizer. Holy snaps that shit "the pot" was DANK! Nicknamed it "poopadook".
