At least someone sees what a benefit hemp would be. I can't express how amazed I am that anyone would argue that.

Look up John Sinclair on youtube... you'll find he wanted what I want... people to be SET FREE.

If hemp has never interested you in the least I'd have to say it's due to ignorance. If you bothered to do some research you'd realize very easily it's an immensely important aspect.

I think you'd care simply because it was in 19. If you don't I can't make you. Enjoy your rep and PMs from people who just don't give a shit.

Wage earners that have been laid off in mass numbers could have jobs to better families. I'd say those families are getting robbed of opportunity. The DEA still has a ditchweed eradication program but they've recentley stopped releasing numbers... probably because people know it's innocuous and hate seeing money paid on it while they starve.

So it won't happen someday?

Don't get over it. Hold your enemies of your movement accountable. My movement involves people out of prison and not going back for cannabis. I'd like to see the aforementioned "uninteresting" hemp totally left out of any recreational bill.

I've devoted unmeasurable time and task for my movement... if it moves yours forward, I'm happy. I hope to hell you don't help mine because it'd probably anger you further... why I have no idea.

Am I your enemy?

You're going to have to get over something sometime...

You just chastised someone simply because they agreed with you.

They just said it's not like it isn't going to happen, as it should.

Dwelling on shit and pointing fingers seems to suit you.

That doesn't do much for any movement that I've ever known... except maybe Congress. But I don't consider that progress.

maybe i just dont like you or your kind...if i STILL have to explain to you and the other fucking idiots why your logic is so flawed, then it doesnt matter because you either A) simply wont get it or..B) you are here only to start shit....and ya, you are my enemy...im too tired to care about you and your shitty pipe dream of a one time only shot...you seem bright, at least bright enough to understand english...i cant help thinking you are very young as you seem to have this idea in your head that you are going to get the most sweeping all inclusive legislation ever passed in the history of the republic....mustard, what you advocate is impossible...and if you influenced ANYONE to vote no here in cali, then fuck you:) how you like me now?

I don't know what kind I am, but thank you for being so blunt.

Point me out the other fucking idiots so I know who you're talking about.

We already agreed I didn't get it. You still never explained it to me, and as that sent a message, I was simply OK to not "get it".

As for this "one time only shot" "sweeping all inclusive legislation ever passed in the history of the Republic" business... that sounds just like pro 19ers going off about how we have to get this in NOW and how it would be the "most liberal law in the world" ad nauseam.... it's actually kind of why this thread went the way it did. "Now 19 didn't pass the sky is going to fall on us because of the traitors"

I believe you are mistaken about my take, but you don't want to reread anything and if you did it'd probably just spin itself as you read it.

I hope I did influence someone to vote against people staying in prison and facing continued incarcerations for cannabis.... against false definition.... under the false pretense of legalizing cannabis.

You tell me what I advocate is impossible.

I tell you it's what many people want.

I guess I am your enemy.

You are not mine.

Fuck you too.

I'd like to see one example of when people were freed from prison after the laws were changed to permit whatever they were jailed for.

^^^^^it will not happen. certainly not in the first fukn bill that gets passed!(and i feel stupid for even leaving a hint of hope)...actually, i feel fairly safe in stating it will never happen. unfortunate, but true...and again, advocating against any legalization efforts at this point is so ......i just cant even...i dont know a....how do you even....well, i think that makes a point in and of itself...
...mustard...love the way you post...sounds absurd...you have a way w words...its too bad you use them to do what you do...the other idiots are not that hard to find....look for threads titled "i dont want the man to make money cuz im already the man"-----"dispensary owners who drive bentleys"---- "law enforcement soldiers for continued status quo"----and my favorite "stupid stoners who like to drop brain turds on internet growing forums".....
...if your ok not getting it, well gooo ood for you...then back the fuck up and let people who do get it take care of shit...your in the way...the sky is not going to fall because 19 didnt pass...but all you fukn kids who think its not going to be harder next time are delusional...momentum lost is momentum lost...not that difficult to 'get it'...
----what you want is what lots of people want...well no shit mr smarty fukn pants...guess what? i want it too! but i am not STUPID ENOUGH TO VOTE NO ON CANNABIS LEGISLATION CUZ IT AINT PART OF WHAT WE COULD HAVE HAD! the entire concept you and others like you put forward is so bizarrely detrimental to the movement as a whole that i cannot believe i even respond to you...i feel if people dont continue to shout you down you may actually pass more crap on to others. people like you must be muzzled until AFTER we get in the door a lil further...then we will turn you loose and you can turn the world into your little jerrybear hippy fantasy land.

really?bitter? ya think? i hadnt noticed til you so helpfully pointed it out. thank you. it sucked...i agree w you 100 percent...but as i stated before november...there was more momentum in 20 months then there had been for twenty years...and you never, ever, stop your own momentum...not in a fight like this...my attitude is brought forth by the absolute drivel i see posted on this subject, pre and post...the argument about whether or not it was a good bill is mute(moot?)...but the argument is still worth making...the attitude of 'its not good enough cuz' is the biggest laydown cowardly argument i have ever heard...mustard, you in particular tell people to go back and re read your posts...why dont you go and look up some of my first posts on the topic...before i started losing my temper...it might change YOUR mind...i understand your moral drive...and i wish to god it could be...but as ive stated before...if im inside right now, i would rather go to a parole hearing armed w the knowledge the law that incarcerated me is no longer on the books,(which incidentally holds no legal recourse that im aware of, but its an easy out for a MASSIVELY sick overcrowded system and a way to slowly change attitudes) then wait around for a godamn proposition that will let teenagers smoke pot in public and also includes ALL canna prisoners, including the murdering, raping gangbangers whose third strike was a felony pot bust, be set free and allows native americans NOT living on casino land to grow thier own godamn nikes!
...Now, obviously, im exaggerating a bit here, but you all get my point.. i hope..i could sit here and go through every single argument people made about why they voted no, or thought cali should vote no, but its already been done...re read every thread on the subject...yes, you had a valid and moral argument,(well, some of you did, some of you were just moronic asshat fuksticks) but so did i(and i, may, on occasion, skew SLIGHTLY immature and foulmouthed).... and mine was bigger because it was a more realistic, possible, feasible, non delusional way of change...

Hemp is its own battle. Only problem with legal hemp is rogue pollen, but i think they'd have sense enough to sanction that shit where it wont effect major outoor grow locations. Its crazy how this bill split the grow community in half.

I just think people used hemp as an excuse to vote no. It seems they were looking for ANY and EVERY excuse to justify a no vote. We all know the real reason....

If so thats a pretty weak excuse.... I can see why it might influence a pro hemp activist to vote "yes" cuz its one step closer to legalization for them too. Unless they vote no cuz theyre scared of rogue pollen fuckin up they crops. I bet blue sky bout ta put a lot more money on the next ballot, and has learned some things so it will be voted in in 2012. Then we all die.

Richard lee won't put up the money again. So who's doing it in 2012??? Legalization is looking less and less likely every day...

And in 2012 they will say wait til 2014, then they will say we should do it in 2016. Then all of a sudden it's 2040 and were still getting locked up on weed charges.....

The only concept I was putting forward was making sure we weren't shooting ourselves in the foot.

Now I'm supposed to think that defining hemp as an intoxicant and subject to huge tax, although it's an industrial application, is a nonissue?!

I'm hearing "Just step back while the nonidiots handle this."

And it sounds like "We don't care if we fuck it up, we're fixing it."

I don't think he was saying it's wrong to advertise OR that 18 y/o shouldn't have access, but rather what message you are sending. MMJ is already scrutinized enough by the anti-crowd as to medical marijuana being "medical excuse marijuana". When people hear mmj, they expect little old women using a cane or some frail person in a wheelchair, not some healthy looking kid techno dancing out the door because he just legally scored a bag of weed.
Yup that's pretty much how I meant it. Thank You and Thanks to all the 18 y/o armed force men and women putting there lives on the line for our freedom, let them upon there safe return get all the Medical "Medicine" they need.:thank you:

(c) Laws to authorize the production of hemp or non-active cannabis for horticultural and industrial purposes.

That is what 19 said about hemp, in the "Amendments" section-- Where in there do you see them defining it as an intoxicant or subjecting it to huge tax??
It said nothing about that, nor did it affiliate hemp with Prop 19...it only stipulated that it could be addressed in a future Amendment--
I thought that was a good thing--
