I'm on a mission to find the perfect bud density for my lights.
I think the level dense canopy worked better when i used HID. Using 6 bulbs, a loose canopy doesn't create shade, and allows for big bud all the way through - just a theory I'm trying out.

Sounds like a great quest.

Took a big pile of photos last night before I vent to bed. To bad only a few of them
were in focus.
It seems the distance between the buds are OK.
Here is the development in the middle of the screen.

And a bud in the shade, still generates a lot of fruits.

She is starting to smell like synthetic candy

What "bud-density" are you growing (if one can speak of so). What I really mean is: how many buds per square feet or any other preferred measuring unit are you growing?

@Glaus: I tried to get around 25 buds in my 50cmx50cm net this time.

@Alex: My ballasts are hidden away in the cooling channel above the cabs. Have you tried the light forum?

Did a recount, closer to 45 buds @ 50 x 50 cm.

Guess I had around 80 in the first scrog I did in the cab Old pic for comparison.

My record yield in the aero system was 220g, running "great white shark" in a 18 plant sog., and at that time the cab was very overfilled.
I think this grow style will perform better, and growing a high yielder would probably improve the situation. (don't know how C-99 yields - anybody?)

With that being said, 330g at 0,25m2 converts into 1320g/m2, and I doubt that is even possible, no matter how much I try to optimize. If I had 50% more space I think it could be done.
