When I look in the mirror novadays I got this mantra...."I`m still alive inside that old man, I`m still alive inside that old man, I`m still alive inside that old man....".:)

I cant be old. Shit, I am but I wont admit it. I am just living in denial. Like where the hell did all this gray hair come from? Hair growing in my ears? Nose? All these aches and pains?

Hair? What was that now again? Grey -my skin is grey but thats from cigs I guess. Wonder what my liver looks like -would Hannibal L eat it with "some flava beans and a nice Chianti" or would he give it to his dog?

This cold cold weather just continues. The cats and dog dont even want to go outside anymore. They are going stir crazy and tearing up the house and each other. Siberian, how old are you? Piel, most likely Hannibals dog is used to the good stuff and wouldn't be satisfied with pickled liver.

Well, it did not take long to get used to it. It is always the first days worst. Now it is same does this continue 3 or 4 months. :comfort:

I guess all pets are spoiled, at least my dog is. It´s weird how my dog almost hibernates in the winter. In the summer she´s just full of energy but come winter she sleeps...

Eh to me the only thing this cold weather effects, is our dog. She's usually calm in the house, cause of the long walks. But long walks are impossible with her feet getting cold after 10mins now, so we are affraid to let her be alone in the house, fearing she would destroy everything. As a pup she ripped the whole bed bare to springs while I was sleeping in it. She's just so lively thing, that will go crazy without all that energy used on something.

couple winters back as a pup, loves snow hates cold

What kinda dog is that? That must have been some sleep to be able to sleep through the bed getting destroyed.

A boxer? They are lovely animals but the short hair must make it difficult during the winter. I used to have retrievers and they even slept in the snow...

No I'm just a natural heavy sleeper, don't drink at all by the way.

Boxer is a good guess, it's an Alano Espanol. My gf is really into dogs and imported this one from Spain. We have had this one for 2 years and I must say it's a one hell of a dog. She's fast, agile and really powerful , what can I say fallen in love with this one.

Mooses, I have seen a few of those in Spain. Some white ones that looked like albinos were pretty awesome looking. They are so strong looking. Is this the only dog you own?

Yes it is, at the moment. Spouse is thinking of getting a Great Dane and I support that. We did have an awesome Great Dane male named Ben, massive character and a heart of gold rest in peace mate.

I could have some vicious looking dog breed. Just for case, that someone unauthorized wants to come into my apartment. :)
Rottweiler would be good, but they eat like horses. So I would be broke soon feeding it.

I love dogs! I´d like a boxer but I can´t give it the exercise it needs.
Rhodesian Ridgeback would be a great pooch!

That is why would be great live at countryside. You can let your dog run free after rabbits and usually they come home after they are tired enough LOL :bump:

My friend has one those caucasian shepherds, huge dog. Makes german shepherds look like little cats. Very friendly and non-threatening fella too.

However, if I'd get a dog someday, it'll would be something ridicilous looking little bastard, having more resemblance to it's master :D. Any intruders would burst out laughing when confronting it.
