Man I just got the most horrible news ever. My clone connect just called and said he got ripped. Arrrrrggggggg! 3x22 site bio-buckets primed and ready to go with the beneficials. I am so ready to rip a system down and go one veg. and two flower. Prepping the volcano as we speak. Calgon take me away!

sucks man..You just learned a valuable lesson. Grow your own moms, take your own clones.It'll save you time/money/heartache.

yeah i would say that sucks as well. you can always go to a med clinic and buy some clones. if you dont have a mother plant of your own.

Both are very valid points, but unfortunately I don't have the space for my own moms. I also don't have access to any medical clinics. I think planning will be in order for the future, but for now the search begins.

You don't need moms. Take clones 1-2 weeks into flower and root them in a cardboard box under 1 CFL. When you harvest, put those clones in your buckets and get ready for round 2.

I think when I get it filled up for this run I will end up doing something very similar to what you suggested.

i had a mother plant i use to take clones off of. then it ended up getting to big for the space so i flowered it outside. ended up going out of town for the night and didnt have anyone water it and it got cooked in the hot sun all day. now i just start to flower then take clones get them ready for the next run.

thats what I do, except I use an old fridge instead of a box.

I think I will get started on a little area for a bonsai setup this week. Going to be a long two months if I can't find any genetics. I will post updates as they come in.

Your best bet is ordering a few packs of feminized seeds... something good. It'll be at your door in a week or so. And if you find some clones in that time, you'll have some dope genetics in the fridge. And if you don't find any... you'll have the seeds to back you up.

P.S. - Nice buckets. What all are you dumping in your rez there?

They only get 3 part, as per Big Tokes recommendations. Although I do add some beneficials (microbe lift ensure) because I have a sealed room and the air gets filtered pretty good.

Well I really tried to follow what Big Toke posted in his how to. Went through the water chemistry thread like 10 times. There really isn't a laid out formula, but I will try and explain how I run them.

I start the system out with equal parts of MGB until I get the system up to about 250 ppm before the clones go in. Then I bring it up over the next two weeks to about 450 with 3-2-1. When flower kicks in I run it 1-2-3, but I only add back when its needed.

I keep a close eye on the ph and ppm. If ph is going up and ppm going down, time to add a little more food. I think it takes a couple of runs with the bio before you really get how your water is going to act. Sorry if I am not really clear right now, just came off of a turkey bag in my volcano,lol.

Well it looks like cuts are out of the question, so I am going to get me a nice order of fem seeds together. I will update later today with what I have coming in.

pulling up a chair and waiting this one through. i cant wait to see how that master kush turns out. i had bout a clone from one of the clinics and i am flowering that right now. dont know where it is from but it looks pretty good right now. but that could all change. i am keeping my fingers crossed though. happy growing...
