Ye the buds look like a similar size to my grow @50N+ but my plants were bigger, and yes the quality is high after a good cure.

I harvested the last parts a few days ago. It might take a long while before I post some smoke notes because I almost never smoke anymore (just very special occasions). Also I will let it cure for a long time.

The purple plant on the first three pics in post #17 has a stronger smell than the other greener plant (rest of the pics in post #17) when dried. When fresh it was the other way around, funny that. When fresh they smelled hashy. Now dried the smell is hard to describe. A little bit like coffee or chocolate but in a sharper, more offensive way. Yes it smells sharp, with a bite, kind of poisonous..

Rinse, :good: thanks for picture

I'd love to hear how they smoke, the pictures were awesome, that purple Pavarti was beautiful. I've just started some and they're still seedlings so I'm eager to hear how the smoke is.

Thanks for posting the pictures and descriptions of the smells etc.

P.S. that ultra purple flower (ipomoea) is *intense*, I'm going to find some of those next spring, the wife will love them.

Anyway with RSC, recommend you to buy and invest in them?

thanks for the thread, very comprehensive.

Sure I totally recommend them. If you want to grow strains straight from their native environment. These strains can have characteristics that are different from "regular" selected western hybrids, so it depends on what youre looking for.

Bad news for the mold !! :(

I've got Parvati and want to make a reproduction of them, it seems to be an intresting strain...

Thanks to share the pics... :D

Blessings...

8 months after my last parvati post. I should have written some smoke notes earlier, but better late than never.. A post to round of this thread.
Right now, after curing in small glass pots, the green pheno smell like bread, or dough with a spicyness to it. The purple pheno smells, I should say stinks, like waste water that has gone bad. Pretty much like sewage water, that's what this pheno kind of smells like :biglaugh:.

As far as the high is concerned, I smoked both plants just once on different occasions, a couple of months after harvesting. I remember one of the plants made me feel quite high, but not very euphoric or happy, a little racy. It was enjoyable, but I wouldn't rank it as one of the better highs I've had. The other plant had a not so pleasant high for me, I would describe it as a rather cold, "hard" and lonely feeling high actually. I guess I should smoke them more often to get more familiar with these two, but I smoke very very rarely anymore, so this is probably what you will have to do with ;).
I have a feeling both plants were thc dominant. Maybe another year I can find a cbd dominant or 50:50 thc/cdb parvati plant to compare them high-wise. (look at the rcs section on uk420.com to read about the chances of finding thc and cbd dominant in their charas lines).

Thanks for looking, of course questions or comments are welcome, Peace

Great pic. THanks for the update. I have some Parvati Valley seeds, gathered and brought back from a visit to a guru. I now have an idea of what to expect, here at 45 N Lat. Im curious about hybrids of the parvati aswell. Could make a nice mold resistant hybrid for outdoor grows. Anyone else have pics or info to share?

You'll find a few differant phenotypes so don't expect anything like you'd get from domesticated europian varieties. There will be a fair bit of diversity and maybe the odd hermaphrodite.if you've got enough seeds then you should fine a few keepers and the odd pest and diasease magnet but the only way to find out is to get em growing as early as you can next season so the plants are as mature as they can get before they start flowering which could be a week or 2 earlier if your lucky.

What marijuanamat is saying is typical of this strain, I had ones that yielded just about nothing and were quite spindly. They all grew tall and this was during my winter grow.
I did find one very nice keeper and one that came close, but just lacked the same sort of bud structure as this one.
Here are some pics of the keeper.
