badrabbit !! good choice on the vertical grow...i was also inspired here on IC to ditch the reflectors and go into the light !!

distance from bulb ive actually never measured, i just push the girls as close to the light and back off when problems appear...depends on temps and strains i guess...

this strain from seed has only needed one stake so far, but many other strains just flop over under the weight of heavy buds supported by puny stems.

have some patience while dialing in and you'll be pullin down more than ever homie !!

Cool, thanks man ... yes, play it by ear and adapt as I go to the strain and the results.

I suspect I'll need a screen of some sort, but I've got some perfect stuff (plastic coated chicken wire from Casa Depot ...)

Boy am I geeked about the vert apprach ... what a forehead slap! And I've got JUST the strain for it ...

well shes a 1st time grower...but i can tell the smallest plant is 1.75oz, the largest twice that, so average plant 2.25-2.5 oz. 7 plants...yup the bare 600w should get her a pound for the maiden voyage !!!

this is the electric lemon haze !!

so most were well done here at 80 days, with two lanky hazes that will go 90 !!!

shes lookin to pull 20oz off the mighty lumatek 600 hortilux, this strain vegged well under hps and had very sturdy stems with very little staking needed. no training was done and only one plant was topped...

the bcuzz mix and botanicare pbp got her through with no deficiency or pest !!

getting the bare bulb down deep into the grow really helps with yield, the light is actually below the top of the plant and its brightness is absorbed the dense mid section of plant girth !!
