^^^It's always the new ones with less than fifty posts!^^^

Read the TOS of this site.

Brother raun, I can appreciate your conviction, but this an inappropriate place to share it. Please don't be offended when your post is deleted. And please don't post here again, if this is an indication of what you'll be posting.

If you aren't, or don't want to be, a Chanting Grower, that's your decision. But those of us posting here are. Let us do our thing and you continue to do yours.

The reason we are still here after more than six years is that we don't tolerate our religeous freedom to be obstructed, and we don't tolerate trolls. Please respect our decisions in life, and everything else will be just fine.

Otherwise, you've been asked nicely. Cause and effect is absolute.

Respectfully,

Thomas

Faith is the secret to happiness for all people. When you truly forge your mind
of faith, you will become an eternal victor throughout the three existences of
past, present and future. Strong faith enables you to display your wisdom
appropriately, so that you can take advantage of change and move forward in the
direction of victory and hope.

The kings and the rulers of men enjoy pleasures and delights, but without the Name of the Lord, death seizes and dispatches them all.

this is a thread of the testimony to the understanding of cause and effect through faithful selfless giving

many of us come from american faiths and cultures

My ancestors and I have a founded faith, and the dynamics of that faith and the tenants of the religion and philosophy IMHO can be truly realized when practiced with an understanding of the true law of cause and effect as described in nichiren buddhism

with that said, it is a solemn belief that anyone of free will who awakens to their own conscience and an understanding of the dynamics of the world around them understands that the human revolution will not occur by us highlighting the difference that separates us but by the likeness that makes us one in the same

i feel the minute we seek to judge someone based on the differences in how we live, opposed to finding a reason to accept them, we end the propagation of good karma and start the propagation of bad karma

and I think most importantly this is illustrated in both Buddhist and Christian philosophies, teach through being an example of being an exemplary human being, give with boundless compassion and reserve judgement for people to discover on their own after they connect to the well of faith that you draw from because they are so moved by you as a living example

the chant of nam myoho renge kyo is a simple prayer that everyone discovers the happiness encountered when they live to their full potential

this seems appropriate in any faith

"Hey Mr. Wilson?"

"Hey Mr. Wilson?"

Hi Folks,

I just got my liver labs back. I have Hep C. The improvements are amazing.

My viral load went from 10+ million at the highest in 08

I took all kinds of herbal remedies but never did the chemical cocktail. The levels went to:

162k 5/09,
5.4 million 11/09,
778k 5/10
and now 23k!

The best reading ever. I completely stopped taking suppliments 6 months ago to see what the effect would be. I did continue to take cannnabis in tincture and vapor. That was all.

My liver enzymes had been as high as

sgot 330
sgpt 290

now

sgot 96
sgpt 102

I envisioned my liver healing as I chant diamoku. And of course, it is healing.

benefit!!!!

When it comes to understanding the Lotus Sutra, I have only a minute fraction of
the vast ability that T'ien-t'ai and Dengyo possessed. But as regards to my
ability to endure persecution and the wealth of my compassion for others, I
believe they would hold me in awe.

“The ability to perceive the negative in oneself enables one to perceive the positive in others… we must acknowledge the good and evil within each of us. Even as we lock horns with a rival, we should be seeking to manifest the good and obliterate the bad. The power of self- restraint can help us avoid conflict and estrangement and enable us to take a correct stance of mutual acceptance and respect.”

"In any earnest struggle, there come crucial challenges -- mountains that must be
scaled and conquered if we are to win. In Buddhist practice, too, we face such
crucial challenges. If we hope to advance kosen-rufu and attain Buddhahood, then
we must prevail over these mountains."

"It has been more than 20 years since I first had the privilege of meeting withNelson Mandela, the lionlike champion of human rights. Recently, former President Mandela, who had just turned 92, sent me an inscribed copy of his latest book. ...I wish to share these words...as an expression of my deepest respect: 'To the youth of today I also have a wish to make: 'Be the script writers of your destiny and feature yourselves as the stars that show the way towards a brighter future--for our country, our continent and the world.' 'Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.'"

It is vital that we set clear goals and chant daimoku concretely towards such targets. The determination that each one of us makes, in a single moment, creates for boundless results. For the sake of victory, let's all be united in our hearts!

Money serves various purposes according to our needs. The same is true of the
Lotus Sutra. It is a lantern in the dark or a boat at a crossing. At times it is
water and, at times, fire. This being so, that Lotus Sutra assures us of "peace
and security in our present existence and good circumstances in future
existences."

If you practice faith yet have an attitude of complaint, you will destroy your
good fortune in direct proportion. Those who are full of complaint are not
respected by others. From both Buddhist and secular perspectives, their behavior
does not befit a wise or worthy person.
