Jeah mistah Unthing man!
That's one nice jungle there! ;)

You use biobizz nutes?

Good luck bro!

Hi, thanks again for commenting

One Q, it could be, your quess is good as mine (or better :) )

Incognegro, nope, fixed position. I didn't do screens this time, althou it's a good idea and somebody suggested it earlier. Now it's just some sticks for support and to keep em in check, so far only removed couple of fans that we're almost touching the bulb

Nukkis, hi! it's a microjungle for little people. Yeah, biobizz grow+bloom, once had topmax but didn't notice any benefit from it. For supplementing bgrow+bloom, some epsom salts and seaweed extract, rarely use epsoms thou. the seaweed too is mostly for seedlings and other little fellas.

Now, something else:

Hopefully in few weeks the bloom pics will more interesting

bangies seem to be doing better and new budleaves aren't that curly, normal to me. it's kinda hard to thell from the pic thou

Also added another pc-fan i had lying around blowing air upwards from the floor and towards the bulb. Midnight kush is chunkiest of them, which isn't a surprise for indica cross.

The veg box got upgraded to whopping 2x11w t5s, got cold and warm white lying around. On the right 4x of g13haze x nycd-cross, didn't make it, grown one seed before and it was unique taste and strong sativa head with indica structure, didn't keep a cut of course..hopefully something similar pops up and males will be saved too for pollen chuckin. On the right and front is chem dd cut which had a bit of revegging single blade leaves, but now it's putting three fingered leaves again. On the back a bit tortured orient express mom. Always thinking of popping some seeds..

Easiest plant to drag out of the cab, one of the bangies

Hi there, we're at 28 days of 12/12 today

Dragged the midnight kush (hashplant x blueberry) out for a pic, so far the chunkiest and probably the fastest of the bunch, like maybe at 9 weeks it's done, but we'll see.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to unthing again.

Gonna be a killer yield for a 150w for sure!

Edit: And that is what i call a good canopy! I should learn from you and veg twice longer my plants to cover a 600w.

make sure you trim all the back branches that get no lights, dont be afraid to cut em off ehehehehe :bump:

cheers,

Thanks red, always nice that someone with 25x more time light in one of their rooms pays attention to us little ones :)

Yes, I've done pruning here and there, cut some branches off, tucked some fans, removed others. Did some today to biggest bangi haze. Some branches tucked under other branches to get close to light. I'm also thinking of doing chicken wire next round (as jgrow suggested in the first page), so that each bucket has it's own screen between the support sticks. Now there just few strings here and there so no branch commits suicide.

I have to agree with oneQ, when I go vert, the leaves often curl to get more light. I had run the same strain in the same cab with the same nute schedule and they curled anyway. It's just the price you pay for more square feet:) They may look a little odd, but they produce all the same dank, oftentimes more:)

Hi

Red, you're so kind :)

Orgaeroman, good to know, might not worry about it as much

Lil pic update, maybe thumbnails this time, so scrolling won't be pain :). Last week put the carbon filter back with a proper inline fan, ditched the ozone generator, wasn't working as good anymore, and those uv-bulbs cost more than lil hid bulbs. Group pic was taken then btw.

As you can see midnight kush (the first in the row) is far chunkier than the rest, but maybe bangies do some catching up or not. Next time I'm thinking of doing run with 2x midnight kush and 2x orient express as those cuts are yielding nicely. One bangi particularly is looking bit weedy and lanky. But they're sativas and little longer flowering than midnight. Couldn't keep them happy this time. But there's still time left.

looking great so far, the only thing I would suggest is some mild trimming. I run vertically and found clipping the fan leaves from near the bulb helped reduce leaf curl and increased light penetration to the rest of the plants. I only trim fan leaves that are blocking bud sites.

I was thinking that comparing a Kush to a haze is going down the wrong road, totally different plants . Expecting similar results is also another challenging mistake. I suggest growing one strain at a time till you get them dialed in. Then move on to other genetics.

How about this: You try to make the best out of what you have and don't give a rats ass about mono cropping. Sure if you are looking to make some $$$ with it but - the dude is doing a 150w vert and harvesting some dank fine ass strains. IMHO updates needed and he is doing absolutely great.

Thanks for comments, JOJO420, Juniorgrower, OrgAeroman, Prowler and Red :)

I haven't forgotten this thread, just the holiday season, I'll put some pics maybe tomorrow.

Next time more trimming and a bit of training so most branches could be on the light side, 150ww penetrated bit less than I thought first. Bangi needs some dialing in, didn't take cuts this time, more seed popping and selecting as they are bit different from seed. Not gonna hit gpws this time, but decent yield, well some weeks atleast left still.

Bangi haze isn't a part of the haze-family, althought it has haze in the name, it's sativa thought, a bit faster and shorter fella.

Monocropping is efficient, instead of it I was thinking running cuts I have some experience of, probably midnights again, orient express and maybe that chem dd-mom I have. Those 3 seem to be quite easygrowing and decent yielding

Thanks Suomi-prkl, here they are:

There's some minor burn damage in midnight and in one bangi, I suspect they got a bit too dry when I was away as they've been in the same position all the time. One of the bangies is considerably smaller than the rest, but let's hope it puts killer smoke then. Midnight has hardest nugs but two bangies are putting a good fight in size.
