I foolishly grew Sweet Tooth in a greenhouse this year (10 miles in from the ocean in Oregon, 45N).

It indeed molded like hell while the Northern Light next to it had only a couple spots. This was with powerful ventilation fans and circulation fans. It started molding in mid Sept as soon as the heavy rains started.

I still pulled close to a pound from the ST, and a lot of my friends enjoy it, but I find it pretty bland tasting though it does pack a nice high.

Mandala's Kalichakra and 8 Miles High also molded terribly, but their Point of No Return was awesomely resistant. Doubt it would work in Canada, but it just might in BC especially protected in a greenhouse.

PNR was finished mid October. I know that doesn't qualify it for this thread and sorry to take it off topic... I just wanted to confirm that Sweet Tooth was a total mold-trap but also inject what has worked for me in a very challenging rainforest environment some ways north.

I will definitely run PNR again next year. Was considering Mandala#1 also but I am now seeing reports that it molds, too. Maybe just Female Seeds Northern Light and PNR, since they are the two that didnt mold, and damn that NL is tasty (lifebreather's POTY cut).

a member here gifted me a cross he made, he called it Arctic Haze which is SSH f2 x Pehkruder(Pehkuruder is a outdoor guerilla cross originating in finland. it's made of Pekin Pehku (early sativahybrid of about 2-3 m height. crossed to a doubleruder male (ruderalis indica x lowryder)

The arctic haze started budding on August 1 and finished up around September 15 here..It was 3 weeks ahead of ALL my other plants..I have great plans for this variety,,This is exactly what i have been looking for an early sativa smoke..that yields well..I got 1/4 pound from her when all dried and trimmed..NOT TO BAD for a plant that only got 4.5 feet tall..but i used LST and fimmed also..which she loved...
the pheno i grew out is a very fruity..very EARLY potent SATIVA smoke...a real pleasure to grow and I will definitely grow her out again..I pollinated her with some OG Kush pollen so we will see how those seeds turn out..I named it Arctic Haze Kush

Ben is a old strain from southern b.c it finishes mid September making some not bad nugs not making for the best smoke but its a very healthy and uniform line for the most part Sea Level is also a good September strain its smoke is abit better than Ben yet not as vigerous if you can get ahold of purple lightning it produces nice purple colors and nice tight nugs that are very resious finish in September its a real winner in bag appeal but since its a Nl#5 cross it has a Nl#5 buzz....hard burnouts If your in low lattitudes its worth giving an affy a try

Your best bet are canadian or danish genetics for sure, semi-autoflowering traits are your friends for a real early finish. Other gurus says it all (great advices from Chimera and BreederBrad), i can add some early 'commercial' strains you can try but results may vary (early phenos to hunt):

- FMS Purple Power and Easy Sativa (Maroc is early too but is mold-magnet)
- Karma/Esbe Jamil Sayyida
- Sag's Early Riser
- Magus Biddy Early (the auto phenos)
- TFD Haley's Comet

Also consider new wave sativa autoflowering strains, like Annapurna or Nirvana Sky. They grow big and go for 100/120 days from seed to harvest

Hope this helps

For clarification

Seaweed , SeaWarp , Sealevel are all the same clone and technically it should be labeled as C-warp.It is an indica(heritage unknown) back crossed multiple times into the timewarp mother. The C part comes from the initial of the person who made it.

If you want perfect early bag/smell appeal big production weed this is for you.The high is OK but no where as good as the Timewarp mother , which is totally drifted out these days.

The main problem when asking what strain to grow up here is that our country is so diverse that one strain that works in Ontario will not work in B.C etc...Even where I live on the Wet coast there are about 5 different micro weather systems within 100 Km range.Growers must find a compatible strain that can be adapted to their own environmental area. Most production growers are trying to make a plant that grows well in one area adapt to where they are , and most of the time this doesn't work.

One of the best attributes of B.C is that folks have been growing outside since the sixties and have , slowly, been adapting imported strains to work in their environments through long term breeding programs. Those who just go out and try to buy a clone/strain expecting it to work will usually fail.Secondly , those growing for pretty bud/production most cash return are doing a dis-service to the plant. Some of the best (as in strongest) bud doesn't look or yield anything that the market requires.

Try to find the oldest local growers who grow for their own/friends/community from seed and ask them for a chance to grow some. You will most likely be very happy....I am.

No disrespect at all but your info on the C-warp is not totally accurate, in another thread you said the "C" was the label of the male plant.. do you know who created it? I was on lasqueti/tex the first season the C-warp got spread and I trust what the lasqueti boys told me. It's only been out of the circle for 4 seasons or so..

It's got great bag appeal and I've seen it pass for indoor, the smell leaves something to be desired in my opinion.. and compared to pinewarp and others it's not the greatest yielder.

Polecat is the one to look for if your around here

I'll Pm with what I know bob .. and your totally right about asking old guys for seeds .. people have been growing the same stuff from trips to india/afghan on the gulf islands since the 70's many are still around..

Sorry lol my suggestions weren't in the strain guide, but one of mine was from*** they have some that have even performed well in eastern Canada where mould is an expected experience every year. After reviewing the strain guide, autoflowers are nice and maybe consider Mendocino Madness? In my experience purps have performed well out here (always finished in Sept. from clone with huge yield, used lots of training and veg before planting outdoors) and they are supposed to be from Mendocino as well. I used to live around there, most of the purp genetics comin out of the Emerald Triangle are similar from my experience (with obvious exceptions lol). Sorry again didnt realize I was breakin the rules.

Hola !!

Ive been growing outdoors around the hamilton ontario area for about the past 7 years.. I plant about 20 plants and loose 1/2 to leo or rippers but thats how the cookie crumbles. Anyways Our climate isnt like our european brothers even if it is at the same latitude. Dont forget where the great lakes are and that really gives us a much different grow season.

Look at his Iranian x g13..I also grow his Iranian x chemdawg.

They finish when they say and yield is very close to what he advertises. I know people are going to call bullshit and thats fine..i thought it was bullshit as well. Infact i bought the seeds out of spite lol thinking "ya buddy done by mid august early sept..whatever..." But Ive always wanted to try g13 so i grabbed a pack. Fuck me was i wrong I couldnt feed it fast enough..it was insane. Both the iranian chemdawg and iranian g13 have 2 pheno types..one done mid august and the second about 2-3 weeks later. His iranian chemdawg ..finishes in the same time frame some of the plants were 10 feet tall...and done in august.
The smoke is epic..its the real chemdawg..its a strain thats hard to build up a tolerance to for me.
Ive never had a seed not pop or had a hermi ...100% stable females so far.
Peace: Te lilman

Greetings people...Anyone grown Guerilla Gold? I've heard it's a potent smoke and finishes mid-end of September.

I'm looking at giving GG a go next year here in the UK. Also going to grow some Maroc or Purple Maroc from Female seeds and a couple of HFH stains.
