have read a fair few times that it's just a plant that hermies... Think it's pretty expensive too, from a not so reputable Seed company. (BIG bad john)

The ALF #3 is now 3' tall, I'm deff gonna have to tie the very top of her down. I have baby plants that need the light dropped.

I am going to pick up an HID light at my friends house to throw in with the plants. He also has a bunch of light bulbs so I may have about 1000 watts of light when I get it all hooked up. I don't know what wattage the light is that he is giving me but I know it isnt smaller than 150 watt HPS/MH. If its a MH light I'll still add it cause I will be running a full light spectrum, should be great for the babies...

Guys I just had an early Christmas!!!
I was given a 1000 watt HPS, 400 watt HPS & 4x 1000 watt MH...
I immediately put the 1000 HPS in the closet, There is 5-6 more lights not counting Florescent lighting systems. I am going to be able to grow 100 or more plants at a time when I get all of these lights hooked up in the main room now that I can fill it with light...

Can a veteran indoor grower tell me if there is any benefit from mixing a 1000 Watt HPS and a 1000 watt MH?
Wouldn't there be a full color spectrum with an MH & HPS?

I've never run 1000W HPS & MH at the same time, but have run the dual-arc bulbs (which are 600HPS & 400MH) with great results. I've also run separate bulbs of 600hps & 400mh at the same time - also with great results.
Only issue I can see is heat. Keep things cool and you should be fine. Looking forward to seeing more.

Yeah, before with just a 150 and 400 watt HPS light all I needed was a fan in the clo0set now I need some good intake/outtake fans.
But I think I will go big since I have the equipment. My house has a 20' x 10' back room with perfect studs in the ceiling to hang 4x 1000 watt MH, 2x 400 watt HPS, 1x 1000 watt HPS & 1x 150 watt HPS. I don't think the friend that gave me these lights knew what he was giving away but the stuff was in the attic already when he moved in. Who ever lived in that house had one hell of a grow setup(My buddy said that he was told be the landlord that an elderly couple lived there before him)...
Pics later... Now I can do some planting, Maybe a few more ALF # 3 or an RRF.?.

I'll have to pm you today on the whereabouts of the moss man.
I just got done cleaning out my 12' x 12' block building, I put my 1000watt MH, industrial fan & growing accessories in the building also. Tomorrow after I get both the 1000watt HPS & 1000watt MH hung up I am going to move my plants to their new home. The fan I'm going to use is so strong that it'll have to be hung where it'll only blow the air between the tops of the plants and the lights. Luckily the building was built with intake outtake exhaust so that will for sure save some time and energy.
There is going to be room for about 50 plants, I could fit 65 but I'm not growing SOG/SCROG strains so 50 will do.

I finally got my grow system setup in my block building!
On the ceiling I mounted a 1000 watt HPS, 1000 watt MH, Covered walls with mylar & In the corner I mounted an industrial fan.
The room will hold up to 50 plants without having to utilize the Sea Of Green method or having to use SOG strains, There is plenty of room for branching between them so I want Tall bushy strains only!
I'm going to start a Pure Afghan Kush in a 5 gallon bucket and she will stay under 20/4 lighting so she'll be a vigoruos mother plant. Pure AK branches profusely, Making her a great strain for taking clones.
The Pure AK will veg for 3 1/2 months before taking first clones, I'll let her recover while the clones finish.
I'll root them for 14 days in a 3 gallon SWC system with 18/6 light regiment, Then they'll go in a 6 site 18 gallon DWC system with 12/12 lighting regiment. There will be 2x 6 site 18 gallon DWC systems that will need the solution changed every 10-14 days so that'll be the only draw back but its well worth the rewards.

Theres not even 1 gallon of soil, Its only in a 8" pot thats more like a 6" but only a little rounder...
Amazing! Did you seed that plant? Do you think it will be finished by 70 days?
