Yes very good way to look at it. I wonder if you could use 16 or 20 ounce cups and not restrict the roots on a fast auto plant. The fast turn over would give you yield instead of large pots.

I can't remember his name but there used to be a sticky thread here of someone who grew that way and got good yield. They've changed moderators and he unstickied some of the stickys.
24/0 if you are interested in breeding the thing look at the other site and I have some info for you there. Hate to see such fine genetics go to waste. Short Term Amnesia would be a strong cross. They tend to go longer than 60 days and are potent. Sour 60 would be good too. No matter what you ought to make at least 40-50 seeds say one small bud.

I think your referring to the thread ICC used to have on here...it was a good thread and proved SOG is the way to go with autos... but i wrote you back on the other site bro

How I look at the yield in Auto’s
If you take the yield in grams and divide by the days it took “seed to harvest”

I use {days / gm = X } to compare auto’s against each other and to the non-auto parent used in the cross.

Zy is 100% correct. That is how we both calculate yield.
It is the only way to compare different autos to each other.

I would not create a random hybrid cross of the Auto Ghaze X Diesel Ryder. I would however, cross it with another Auto Ghaze X Diesel Ryder. But I know you do not have a male to do that with, this round anyway. If you like it, then grow it out again and then do the cross.
Then you could select for what ever you liked. I think you said you wanted a shorter flowering time? The genes/traits are there, that single cola pheno was earlier/faster.
That way you get what you want much faster.
Creating a random hybrid cross, will take much more work to stablizie and may weaken or lose some of the traits that are already present.

Hey everyone, i finally got some free time and was able to snap some photos of the cab...

First up is a couple of cab shots!

Here ya go everyone at icmag and SGS as promised, pictures of pink bud, a weee bit streched but not bad at all, they should make it right up to the light when they hit their peak!

Next up is the NYLD i havent been taking as many pics as i should because they are stunted but here is some close ups, they are about 43 days old...

This is the prego NYLD her lower branches are filled with young seeds! but her crown is filled with the thing we all love the most, THC covered bud!

This is another NYLD...has the most trichs so far...

If you have more sour 60 beans to do a seed run with and continue the line, and you can do the Auto Ghaze X Diesel Ryder again and do a seed run with to continue the line, then cross that monster with anything you like, it's all fun and learning.
Sour 60 pollen sounds good.

Remind me, how many days did the Auto Biddy Early take? How many days did the single cola pheno take of the Auto Ghaze X Diesel Ryder?

You are right that Autos that have a longer growing period are not, constantly encountered form the commercial auto breeders, but there are plenty of privet breeders working around the world on 85-120 day autos.

There are plenty of strains that flower 85-120 days. 20/4 will get another, he has plenty to choose from.
I would keep it pure. It already has several pheno types and needs to be worked, adding another multi-hybrid will make it more difficult to stabilize the traits 20/4 likes.
But also like I said breeding is fun and a good way to learn it, is to do it.

I think the sour60 crossed with the monster will be pretty intersting, id love to see it honestly... Biddy earlys were around 60 days.. and the single cola was around 65 i bileve, which is half the time of its sister!

I think i may run Short term amnesia next, any if you could provide would be amazing... Im gonna use some sour60 pollen to dust on the MONSTER just because i dont want to let the genetics go... ill deff give you the amount of days and how many grams soon as she is done... right now she is around 77ish days i believe...

If they are making seeds, that would explain them being "stunted"...plus as SGS said, maybe they are just that way...

I left them in cups far too long after they sexed, maybe 20 days or so, 1 of them is around 18ish inches i would say but the others are tiny tiny, Ive only saw pictures of what the breeder and a couple testers were able to do, from what i hear they are suppose to be around 16-24 inches... my smallest is like 5 or 6 inches i believe... thats why i started the pink bud in their final homes, so i wouldnt have to worry about stunting them... The age of what? the NYLD are around 43 days old or so i believe...the pink bud are around 7 or 8 i believe (above soil)... the dieselryderxghaze is around 75ish... I have exact dates written down, i just dont feel like lookin for them
