I got 7 plants and all seem to get worse and worse! I only got 1 week left but it started for like 4 weeks ago!

All the fan leaves are getting destroyed like it don't have any nutrients in them anymore! I also have seeing 1 or 2 flying things in my home box, just thought it was a mosquito... now i finally started to read about pestes :( i think i will be checking the bottom of the roots tomorrow.

It have also been very cold lately, when the lights are off its about 10C-15C and about 25 when its on. but i fixed the problem so its about 16C when the lights is off and about 25 when its on.

would this go on to my next grow or what the fuck should i do!?

can post some pictures tomorrow.

Container/Pot size?
Have they been transplanted, if so how long ago?
If soil, composition ratios (peat moss, perilite, vermiculite etc.)?
Water runoff Ph?
Nutrients added?
Ratios of nutrients (N% P% K%)?
Feeding schedule?
When were they last fed/watered?
How are you determining when to feed/water (weight, wilting, etc.)?
TDS/EC/PPM?
Tap/RO/Distilled water?
Ph before and after adding nutrients?
Is your Ph equipment properly calibrated?

Distance to the canopy?
Temps at canopy?
Temps at root zone or reservoir?
Day/Night temps (Min.-Max.)?

if you dont wanna answer funker's questions, then post pics..
if your seeing flying bugs they are prob soil fungus gnats.. they suck nitrogen out of the soil and leave pearly/silvery spots on the leaves, but are not much to worry about compared to other mites... Could be other bugs too, but most that like cannabis dont fly around..

Hi Akira_Dk3,
Sorry about the issues you are having bro. Growing without testing equipment is like flipping a coin and hoping for "heads."
Okay as for the mosquito looking bugs.. Adult thrips look like mosquito's. Thin and jet-like.

Try flushing out the medium with pH'ed water. Keep flushing till the water you add exceeds 3 times your container size.

Look for thrip larvae. Aphids are not cool because they destroy your root system. I hope a flush is all you need bro. Best of luck and please buy tome testing probes. pH and TDS. You can find the pens for under 30 bucks each and it'll save a grow bro.

From the damage you described, and without seeing pics I would say you have the root aphids. I recently got rid of them, but I too was stumped for a long time. Flyers that look like fungus gnats is a tell-tale sign. This is more and more common a problem.

Go to Home Depot, pick up Bayer Tree and Shrub (about $11 bucks) and flood through your plants in VEG with it at 30 mls per gallon. Not much you can do in flower. I kept the population under control with regular (every three days) soil drench with Azatrol (or Azamax, same thing). Then when your done flowering whatever your flowering shut the room down and Clean everything and start over with treated cuts. What I've been doing is the soak through with the Bayer (Imid) at transplant from cut then again right before I throw plants into flower.

That is of course if you do indeed have aphids. Pics would help, but so far I'm sure that is what the prob is.

could just be everyday bug thats not harmming the plant.. theres more bugs out there that wont hurt the plant then bugs that will...

What can i do to prevent getting aphids again?
I will throw out the soil and pots. what should i do to get rid of the flying fuckers?

Im thinking im spraying all inside the tent with some anti pesti spray?

and ofc use new and better soil.

I might harvest at friday becouse its starting to go into the buds on 1 of the plants. they almost lost all the fan leaves now :(

use Bayer Tree and Shrub at 15ml/gal, do root soaks before putting them into the flower room.
This will take a few months of serious work, only one flyer will start this process over.
Just keep the root soak up, that will kill the bastards in the soil.

I can't remember the name of the spray needed for the flyers out of the soil, a few sprays with that helps to control the egg layers, once they are under control, nont of the eggs hatched will live because they will not be able to feed on the plants.

I'll have to stop by my grow house and get the name of the spray, you could do a quick search in the root aphid thread, it's named there.

peace
you'll get them bastards
