we finished working with our true blueberry male and now we're working with the COCOA KUSH male, so i'm not sure where the BD male is going to go in all of this, but i imagine it will be in the next round. poor mr mountain gets all sniffly every time we get a male spun up, so i am kind of hoping he'll get on his maintenance dose for his allergy shots before the next round of maleness, for his own sake, ya know! i'm so glad to see you back, dk, and back in the saddle, too. we've been thinking about you and wishing you a drama-free, heavy harvest life. :)

KK, hope you're hangin' in there...I just read in another thread that you've stayed sober for months now... I'm impressed!

DK...woww...I understand now why you've been scarce around here, you've had a lot on your plate!!! I'm sorry you have been so burdened. I hope you will post here more in the coming months so we can offer you encouragement and support. I can really relate to the struggle you've had with your man, it really rang bells for me when you were describing the battle of wills and his passive-aggressive ways regarding your shared growing activities. Hey bad girls! Just dropping by and seeing what's up with the ladies. And a special shout out to Mrs. B ;) well I was gifted some thrips recently and today my bad girl dropped all her stuff and tracked down some spinosad for ol gdawg....now that's how ya touch a boys <3 girls.

Dang! What choice did I have. Gdawg threatened to burn every last plant and move out of the house over the stupid thrips. I would do anything to save the crop....(with Christmas coming and all.... he 's gonna need all the dough re me to be a proper Santa and not disappoint his lil skunk baby...Beesides, one look at those baby blues of his , a girl would do just about anything:ying: she might even be able to forget how bad he is for coming over and flirting with all the BADGIRLS

Well girlz, I am out of commission for a bit... got twins on the way.
No more personal grows and no more medicatin for a bit. Since all I want to do is sleep, I'm thinkin maybe that's not gonna be as bad as all that.
But dang not being able to treat this nausea is frustrating cuz I know I got the cure for it...
Hope y'all are havin happy harvests and awesome days.

Is this your first time being preggers?
I went the first few months of my pregnancy (with what ended up being a 10 1/2 lb. baby, practically the weight of twins!) I went through a stretch of nausea that I finally talked with my midwife about. I couldn't eat because I didn't feel good, and I didn't feel good because I couldn't eat. Her response? "Honey, just smoke a bowl" (she then supported her comment with a bunch of articles and reports on the effects, one study by USA today was done over the course of 10 years and showed no difference in the children who had mothers who medicated and those who did not)

My pregnancy blues did a 180, I had an amazing home birth and have a kid who is sharp as a tack and began reading at age 4.
I didn't think it was ok to medicate, but it became a great source of relief on so many levels. I just figured it was better for the baby for me to be able to eat and sleep well, and have a natural source for stress reduction. I smoked maybe once per day, if that, or just when I needed it. Not trying to convince you to change your decision, just shedding some light on what it was like for me to medicate for the last 6 months.

I did basically quit a few weeks before, which is an important point to make. This important decision was made because although I planned on a home birth, there is always a chance that a hospital visit might be in order. I did not have care established with any MD or hospital. I did learn that when mothers come in "off the street" to give birth in an "emergency" situation, they always do a drug test (I'm sure there is ample reason why). Now that I'm a patient, it would be legal, but this was before that was an option.

Jess - we just went thru a discussion about this, I would urge you to go back a few pages in this thread, starting with KK's post on 8-27-10, Post #2797, then post 2803 & 2807-2811 (And MissGD's great post above). No one is insisting that you partake, but I for one would be concerned about total abstinence. (This is why I expressed surprise that KK had totally abstained so far!)

Anybody know how Miss B is doing?

Lil Skunk Baby... would love to see you post more often! I mean gdawg is nice and all ;) but he's no substitute for a real live Bad Girl! :groupwave: Isn't that always the way Lil...you having to talk him down off the wall re: the thrips.

you are right . I DO need to be more active in the Badgirls room. In fact , i think there should be a concerted effort to round up more Badgirls. Here is gdawg tryin to look inconspicuous (for once) He CAN be a little dramatic.... actually i had to peel him off the wall he was so upset over the infestation. As far as him hanging out with the BADGIRLS, I guess deep down , he wants to be a Badgirl too!
