not in the mind of the conspiracy theorist... but in the real world it is generally true that the simplest explanation is most often correct.
In the scientific method, Occam's razor is not considered an irrefutable principle of logic, and certainly not a scientific result --Wiki
So, you would be speaking of the meteorologist that announced that the military was spraying it on national tv? Oh, wait, he must be a conspiracy theorists, that can't be true! the government would never spray anything in the air that could harm us, right?
and your point is?
I never claimed it was either irrefutable nor scientific.
Chemtrails on the other hand... COMPLETELY refutable.
I can't for the life of me figure out how this thread went from chaff to chemtrails.
Why why why has no chemtrail truebeliever ever produced easily accessible samples of the chemtrail vapors to prove their point?

WHy do you keep bringing up chemtrails? I am speaking of "chaff" that the military uses to block radars.

There was a thread a couple weeks ago about this, got flamed to death by The Voice of Reason.
This past summer I've noticed them more than any other time of my life. I'm all the way up in the middle of Canada too. Grids being made in the sky, staying there for the entire day. The planes aren't even flying at high altitudes, you see them at about 10 000 ft coordinating runs in the air.
yup... planes practicing combat maneuvers... you've nothing to worry about from chaff.Chaff is frequently released by military aircraft in the desert area west of the Great Salt Lake (GSL). The chaff is seen on the radar display usually as narrow bands of high reflectivity that travel with the winds after emanating from a point source. Sometimes these chaff echoes can stretch for hundreds of miles. The bands are also very shallow and are usually seen on only one tilt of the radar, though this depends on the range from the radar and the amount of diffusion time. As chaff drifts closer to the radar site, it may be seen on several tilts making it more difficult to distinguish from actual weather.
Chaff events on two days are examined. On 7 May 1996, chaff mixed with real weather echoes increasing the echo intensity causing them to become indistinguishable from actual higher-reflectivity echoes. It is hypothesized that chaff entered the convective cells creating hybrid echoes through turbulent dissipation throughout the cloud. These echoes were detected by NSSL experimental algorithms. During one volume, a 60 percent probability of hail was indicated by the NSSL hail detection algorithm (now in Build 9).
On 9 May 1996, isolated chaff had structure much like that of actual weather echoes: the chaff had more-rounded shapes and was seen on multiple tilts of the radar. This situation required the use of a visible satellite image to distinguish chaff from the weather. In addition, the vertical tilt of the chaff was much greater compared to genuine echoes.

i am amazed that people do not understand that contrails can do anything clouds can do... including stay around all day.
You would think that exposure to the correct information would cause people to use their critical thinking skills... but if you did think that, you'd apparently be wrong.
chemtrails are a myth.
I don't think the conditions are right for contrails to linger every single day. A legit contrail almost always fades away in a minute.
So, I'm guessing you are a weather expert?
Link to data please?

You can look it up yourself. If you look hard you can find the NASA study saying the same thing. Contrails only exist in supercool high humidity air and they almost always dissipate within ninety seconds. If you do find that study let me know. I haven't been able to find it for years.
