Jack Flash. It was a seedling given to me by a friend. He didn't do any selection-just germed a pack and gave one of the females to me-another to another friend, I've tried the bud from one of the other females and it was v similar, or the same, to the buds mine produced.
Did we both get lucky?Or is JFlash just a reliable top notch strain- i don't know. Buy the bud is seriously good. It has a chem type astringent smell but it is also intensly earthly. The hit is strong trippy sat buzz but can also feel some stone in there.
The plant was vigorous-yielded well and was done in 8-9 weeks. I left it for over 10 but it had properly finished-with amber trichs-between 8and 9-which was a surprise.
I have a thesis. The Belladonna that i had this time last year was v similar to this JFlash. The chem type earthy/astringent mildly citrus smell is quite characteristic and quite unusual-i have experienced it a few times before. The Madsativa (rare UK cut/strain from B@klo collective) had it strongly. This cut was from unknown bagseed in mid90s. Also a Jack Herer plant grown by a friend several years ago had it. All of these buds had a heady trippy hit as well-which makes me wonder about the relationship between the high and the various combinations of terpenes present.
Anyway-i think that the characteristc smell may come from Jack Herer. Belladonna is Super Skunk X'd with an unknown sat. was it JHerer? Madsat smells the most astringent of all. When growing and drying it smells strongly of solvent, or some type of chemical paint. But with a 2 month cure-it lost the sharp chem tang and went more earthy. The guys don't know what the bag seed was. I have been wondering about it forever bacause it is such a spectacularly good cut-i wonder if it was from a bag of 90s JH?
I'd like to grow some JHerer.

ps-i hope that my contribution to an earlier thread had nothing to do with it's being deleted as (to Admin) i was only joking about the European Court of Human Rights.

Eddie - how do the Sensi White Label strains match up with the Sensi "originals"?

Have you run both versions of any strains?

Don't see too much mention of the White Label stuff on the site.

the AKush was grown by a collegue, Capt Sofa-he bought them becasue they were advertised as a 45day strain, which they are not. They took about 9weeks+to finish properly but they grew vigorously, are yieldy and the bud is certainly respectable.

I don't know much about White Label either-
cheers

i don't know, FM, but the stuff that i'm smoking was grown ina cab alongside some AK47 (and i've been growing AK for ??4years-ish) and i can't see that it is any closer to AK than any other indica dom type strain. The leaves are a bit broader than AK47-they stretch a bit more and the smells/tastes don't seem, to me, to be related

Cheers Eddie, been ages since I did Ak47, and I had some quite sat ones so I doubt the AfghanKush is the same, was just wondering as White Label strains are mostly knockoffs of popular lines eg. Double Gum being a Bubblegum.
