yeah guys i use final phase one time and flush it out right away.here is a update on the 10 gal room at 59 days and looks like it needs more time to amber the purple is starting to come after a few feeds at 6.2-6.5 and nite temp 60f lots of food still stored inside the plant crazy i started flushing at 45 days and after 2 weeks she is finaly giving up tthe purple is coming from the inside instead of leaf first this time 59 days 15 days flushing and still green ppm is nothing RH 40% day temp 75f co2 2000 ppm

I'm so excited about asteroid I had a dream about. I had a whole jar of it in my dream, and I was sitting on a mountain hut porch in the spring rolling giant joints.
nice dream it will come true lol i'm working hard to make it happen them beans are so special the smoke is going to be murda.i think she should purple all in 2 -3 days so just waiting for that then its chop time.i hope i find a 9-10 week purple haze with great yields

i think its very possible you'll find some phenos that will be 9-10 weeks or close to that do to the lvpk flowering times.

we will find it everyone going to pick different favorites from so many phenos that are going to pop up and i bet they all going to be favorites
right on phenos are going to be all different kinds of weeks two great plants breed together i can already smell the flavors
It is possible to find an 8 to nine week pheno for sure. I grew an almost 100 percent sativa version of Apollo 11 for a few years, and it finished at day 50 to 56 always. its all about the breeding. the asteroid goal for me the goal is a perfect 50/50 balanced pheno that finishes in 60 days, and a more haze leaning pheno that finishes in the same time.
Great update DG, and I think with all the beans that are gonna get run you will have a very high probability rate of finding a pheno that will satisfy your desired qualifications and parameters.
NOW, that's going to be a fun thread....watching those beans pheno out is going to be super rad. Thanks for sharing the process.
your right on the money phosphorous def the plant turns dark purple and is why i up my ph so it can use it all up is the goal i went back in my thoughts and remember i left the water shift up high in the 6 range and its how she purple last run and its happening now with higher ph levels.man i love finding the way to things its so fun to experiment

Even if the first round is not your perfect lady and you continue to backcross; my bet is that Astroid will have the potential to win cups in 2011.
Also can you imagine how cool Astroid males will be for other projects?
