Cinderella 99 F1 Grow - Organic

Well, after much deliberation (4+ months) on which genetics I want to grow next, I ended up with these:

I am going to do a full organic soil grow by using LCs soil mix and blood/bone/kelp meal with an occasional tea here and there. 16-oz cups will be used for the first few weeks, then I will transplant them into 3-gallon smart pots. I am not going to start 12/12 just to select the females, I am going to let them veg 4 - 6 weeks, then I will switch.

I am using a 400w MH until a week or so before I flower, then I will switch to a 600w HPS....I hope you guys enjoy the show..any questions/comments/discussions is encouraged!

Lastly, I would like to thank Mosca for the availabilty of these genetics :tiphat:

First off, beautiful grow man, it is looking very healthy.

I feel like yours is the alternate universe version of my current grow.

I am doing Mosca's C-99 BX-1's in RDWC using GH nutes with vert 400 watt CMH. Looking forward to both our results.

Mine is here

I decided to take individual pictures of the ladies. I'm hoping someone can chime in on the C99's and tell me which phenos I may be coming across.

They are looking great!

#6 looks lots like the early finisher I had. Very fruity in the end, and was done outdoors before anything else in my gardens.

I had one that didn't finish until Nov (3wks or so later than the early finisher) and it was very much like the lanky #2. This late finisher had a very similar pineapple/tropical fruit aroma, but slightly more subdued than the expression of the early funky pineapple pheno.
The yield of the late pheno absolutely blew away that of any other c99, as well as any other plant I had out. It was the champ of the year in every aspect.

By the way, the clones are doing excellent. Roots are already coming out of the cups...I need to transplant them soon and let them veg while I find the perfect mother(s).

Day 30 flowering

Cleaned up the grow area today...took them out and took pictures...

C99 #1 - funky and fruity smell

C99 #2 - Very sweet smell...not so much fruity
CAjn8.jpg

C99 #5 - citrus-y fruity rotten smell...looks as this may be the greatest yielder in the bunch.

C99 #6 - fruity smell...not so much skunky...just fruity
jwi21.jpg

C99 #7 - This one is the shortest/stoutest of the bunch...she has a fruity and menthol smell...

I don't smell any pineapple yet...maybe I need to wait for them to grow out a bit more...the smells are starting to kick in.

C99 #1 is starting to smell like an open can of Dole Pineapple juice...not so sweet, but more of the pineapple 'acidic' smell...the hint is starting to come in...

Looking fantastic!
Clean grow, healthy plants...well done.

Just curious if you have a target harvest time? How are you going to judge finish?

Target time is around 52 - 55 days as everyone says that Cindy is best harvested then. I typically judge the finish by inspecting the trichomes...I usually do 10%clear/80%milky/10%amber. I like to go a bit more amber if I'm dealing with an indica dominant strain.

C99 #5 evolved into a fruit punch smell...very sweet almost like a mixture of starbursts and cherries...I think this may be the keeper as it also looks like the biggest yielder. The smoke test will decide...

I just hate to see these get pulled too early. Seems people really are itching to take them down fast just because everyone talks about how fast they are. It's hard for me to judge, since I grew them outdoors, but one I took down like the first week of Oct. and my best one did not have the first amber tric until a full three weeks later. Certainly not a 55 day finisher.
At that point the trics were almost all very white milky and full, with barely any clear trics.
I check daily with a RS pocket scope.

Looks really good, I personally would take them down at different times. Maybe a couple at 52-55 if you want and some at 60-65 or whenever you get a fair amount of amber. It would be nice to have some smoke more suited for daytime, and some that might be better for night time. Variety is always nice. Good luck the rest of the way and thanks for sharing.

I used the rapid rooter 50 count tray with a humidity dome. I simply took the cuts, dipped them in the cheapest rooting hormone I could find, and that's it. For watering, I used whatever was left over when watering the ladies, which consisted of Liquid Karma and molasses only. Once they rooted, I transplanted into 16oz cups filled with the cooked soil (lime, perlite, ewc, kelp/blood/bone meal).

The clones are in my bathroom with a CFL hanging vertically above.

Sounds a bit like mine, though in my case I'd describe it more as a candied grapefruit...

Thanks for the link..I'll check it out.

I have two Critical+ ladies in there that I am going to run them to 50% amber...they will be my nighttime smoke.
