I'd love to see a well documented Mental Floss grow!
Perhaps a selection of the various Northern Lights that are currently available.
Maybe dabbling into DJ Shorts less popular current strains Vanilluna, Cocoa and dare I say it Flo.
Although this is verboten, I'd like to see some of Subcools gear tested by talented growers at IC.

i'd like to see more of the Calizahr... only a few packs still floating around the net. i was lucky to get some F2 of an open pollination.
calio and shiskaberry? sounds like a match made in heaven. i havn't heard a single bad thing about it, and the pics are just plain beautiful. can't wait to see how they do outdoors :)

also,

Durban Thai HighFlyer x C99 ,,,, i dunno how legit the version on seedboo is ($125 my ass :mad: ) is, but i got some F2's from a real good guy, original bros grim stock is what he used.

in my area people are going nuts over some shit called GIRL SCOUT COOKIES..other nicknames include blue cookies or sour grapes (not related to keyplay)...its an OG kush/ grandaddy purple cross with i think one more strain mixed in there somewhere. it smells like SFV kush but with a more musky sour grapes hint, and with purple/blue coloring. shit is very potent one hit is all you need...when you smoke a blunt it stinks up the room with an incense like smell and you will absolutely not get anything done.
took quick pic..il have better ones later. im paying more for the half P of this than i do full packs of good greenhouse/outdoor right now in the san francisco area lol....felt kind of dumb paying that much but its so worth it...i will saving an OZ for each one of my peoples

Been growing it for years and its my girls favorite. Great yield, ok to good high, smells good, looks good. Sativa that finishes relatively quick.

But yes, everyone in cali is sick of it.

Cute fact is, if you plant it in early april, it'll get 20' tall by end of season :D

Mmm check the spanish seedbanks (but the real ones not the bullshit ones) like CBG, ACE, Delicatessen and Tropical Seeds... lots of interesting and NEW stuff lately like amazing sativas and some cool hybrids too.

Real shit... not mainstream buds but different and cool dope!

PineappleThai aka Norcal Pineapple aka Pineapple express,great synthetic pineapple koolaid flavor with a nice soaring high.Smells like sickly sweet insence when burnt.XJ-13 is another winner for sure with a nice sickly vanilla smell and a stratospheric high at 10 weeks.

Yeah Pineapple Thai is getting some buzz and XJ13 has been finished up by some peeps here recently indoors, well before the outdoor deluge, and looking forward to their reports.

Yeah, I got a cut of that PT but it's still veggin and gonna be awhile before we see what she can do. Been thinking about popping the subcool gear I been sitting on. Black Queen, Space Queen, and some 3-D and one more pack that I can't remember.....this thread should get fun.

There was a pretty legit cut of Purple Wreck floating around and some pineapple crosses to it.....would like to see that again

fire og kush male....i asked the grower today and it was cherry kush (GDPxDurbanXOG) x fire og kush. its a pretty dominant male because im running some GDP that got hit by its pollen and the beans produced buds that were very og kush dominant....

I really can't understand why BD is so popular, I really think that shit is weak as hell. Spindly growth, weak smoke. I got this clone that does everything BD does in terms of blue flavor, all day up high and insane resin. . . It's a blockhead f1 selection, I'm getting it out to people in california and elsewhere slowly but surely in hopes that it replaces BD.


As far as new shit, I think landrace hashplants hold the key, hit up with some more modern sativa genetics perhaps. A key, there's legendary shit waiting around many corners. Problem is, the chem and the OG really is the chronic shit that sets the bar! It's nothing to knock for sure.

growers like Blue Dream because it is a heavy yeilder and easy to grow....and even if you fuck up and pull it early its still usually really stinky and frosty.


blue dream is so commmon that of course theres some bad versions around. i have def seen more bad BD than good... if its good it will stink heavy and the smoke aroma will smell like blue incense, and it has a good taste that kinda gets boring after a while but for first time appeal its nothing to knock,,i remember when we all first smoked BD the smell was crazy people loved it..

blue dream is hay IMO.
sure she is huge, but that's the only pro i can think of.
she didn't do anything for me that i would remember her after a few months.
