idk,'pitbull' by itself is a generic term the media uses to lump anything with a big head and muscular body together to scare the masses. the real 'pitbull' is the American Pit Bull Terrier. simple americans bred the original bulldogs and game hunting terriers together for the pit hence the name. a rose by any other name is still a rose. the real apbt is an animal bred for one purpose and one purpose alone. when u start not breeding for that one purpose u lose the one trait that separates them from all other breeds and is then what we call amstaffs.

and kinda agree on the scott type american bulldog thing. but i also think they just bred apbt or apbt crosses to pretty much whatever would get the job done together . and walla the ab. similair to the apbt in that they were bred to function not look pretty. hence y some lines are said to contain bird dogs like pointers and whatnot in them plus with nkc 7/8 rule diff breeds are still being added today.

pups are hot already my pick male had to be pulled at 7 wks or he would of killed the rest. he's sleepin on my chest rightnow.lol i have to think bout postin pics i kept 3 pups for myself but the others im just holdin on to for now till they can get out. i had to erase some of my previous pics i fukin got recognized. luckily by a friend . so im very skeptical bout postin pics of my stock now.

stoney, sweet avatar man, seen that on another site i wont mention here awhile back. those be some cutters. no worrys man, i dont need to see pics. but on the other hand if u need to get rid of one hit me up lol. what weight range u think they will fall into. really wanting to get something on the smaller side 25-35lbs. 100lbs dog are a bitch to handle in an emergency plus it cost more to feed them than me lol. and again goodluck with the pups.

cool site will peep it much more.. Look up a dog named phantom rolls.. I think this dog might be what your talking about. I also think some of these am bully's might have presa canario in them.. those dogs look friggn juiced. So is the staffordshire terrier the apbt? i have always been around pits just never researched them. Our family just always had them we were and are an active family and those dogs fit right in.. peace n pufs.

The American Staffordshire Terrier is just the show cousin of the American Pit Bull Terrier, to make it simple it has the outer shell of the Pit Bull but everything in the inside that makes a Pit Bull a Pit Bull has been bred out of them 100%. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is the English version.

Why would a game dog owner ever go to a Bully Show/Convention except for maybe get a petition going to cull all Bully's?

I have a company that is trying to rid all Am-Bully's from every registry except for their own ABKC.

I do what I do to save the "true" American PIT Bull Terrier. Am-Bully dogs should be registered with the ABKC and I will keep eradicating Am-Bullys from the ADBA and U.K.C. COMPLETE eradication of that breed being listed as American Pit Bull Terriers is the only way to save and preserve the "true" American PIT Bull Terrier from extinction. I believe in my mission and will continue it.

He is tall and slender and solid as a brick, he is def not the new breed of pitbull that is as tall as the curb and fat as rosie odonell.. nothing against those dogs but with all the diff bloodlines mixed in cant be good especially temperament wise.. just my two pennies on that.. peace

APBT, is a descent of the original victorian (english) bulldog from the 1800s, NOT the british bulldog off nowaday,,eg. to fat, cant breath , loads of heath probs, can run for a long time ect ect
but what is known in todays breeds as the old tyme dorset bulldoge/victorian bulldog....thay all came from this breed,,,the true pitbull fighting dog...off course nowadays the fighting is bread out....

THEY ARE SO SWEET AND FUNNY WHEN THERE RUNNING AROUND THE YARD, I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH. THERE FRIENDLY AROUND THE KIDS, AND SPYDER DOES A GREAT JOB PROTECTING THE KIDS AS WELL AS THE HOUSE. Before my health got really really bad I would volunteer time to save/rehab work with dogs at shelters, wish I could say most had happy endings. Worked saving "bait" dogs , near death injuries, abandoned dogs after they'd lost, abused dogs by people, backyard breeding, ect... ect... the majority (rightly or wrongly labeled were pit's.) I have 4 currently and have already set up contingency plans for em if they outlast me.

anyway, glad most people in this thread have posted great pics, awesome stories ect... those talkin bout "game ready, game dogs, hotblood" ect... I really hope you're not putting these and others dogs at risk...

The goals of serious breeders should be examined in bloodlines and intent...

Way way too many dogs get put down each day that would have made wonderful companions. You can find just about any type, any breed if you look. Take care, and much love for responsible owners. (and breeders)
