I totally agree. That's exactly why you research, don't buy a clone with no info on it. See if they can show you pictures or buds, then make the judgment call yourself based on what you got. Remember you are going to spend months figuring out if you like it or not. There's many clubs out here that have people that have grown out and documented their cuts. I have seen and felt and smelled the buds to the last 2 clones I bought as well as pics from their personal digital camera showing it growing. Do your own research once again or move on lol.

Yes, any novice grower who knows best knows to quarantine incoming clones/plants. For those that don't, get in to the habit or pay the consequences lol.

well said greyskull. i seen alot of bs clones thats what makes the real deals so special. its not just in cali people throw a name on sumthin. i cant count how many elites didnt make the cut and got tossed. but got came back in a different form and will never leave.i had a few diff versions of gg all claimed to be real but culled after 1 ok run. then i got "the one" and it will never leave my mother group well atleast not for a very long time. lvpk and chemd 98bubba are a few that will be there forever.

Dude...a friend in Oregon who's well connected up there ran some Pinecone a few years back and really liked the sample I got. I asked him to track the cut down for me and never came up with it. Next time I chat with him will ask again.

Nah I have always felt this way .
From the first time a X friend of told me that he wasn't going to give out his sweet cut because he didn't want anyone else to have it. This was when I knew that the so-called cannabis business was going to go down a shitty road of hoarding and greed and for what? The saddest part about the canna industry/'community' right now is the overwhelming lack of honor and trust thats rampant... Its full of liars and theives and folks looking for handouts. Everyone is 'entitled' apparently....

a couple strains in the bay area i want to get my hands on but are hoarded is a certain blackberry kush cut that floats around sacramento and san francisco, and the cherry pie cut that is around san francisco. stop hoarding!

Those are out, bro. I've seen em both quite a few times. Cherry Pie is a winner, but forget the blackberry kush. It's pretty but there's tons of stronger stuff out there that doesn't autoflower at the first sign of stress.

Some truly hoarded cuts I'd like to try are Ingrid, 3rd Eye (Silver Goo), OGH, Loompa's Headband, HP 13, and the Cough (maybe Nomaad will take cuts to GKG!).

Seems like Golden Goat is being hoarded out here in California, despite the fact that it's everywhere in Colorado. I don't know of anywhere it's available, at least. That said, I'm sure the Goat and the Banner #3 will make their way around in due time...

I think that cut is pretty available in OR at least. I had the same cut about 4 years ago. At the least expect some Cough crosses to hit the server fund auction early next year. We tried a pollination but the pollen fried in transit so we're gonna try again in about a month. Will get crossed to some Shadow Haze bx2 pollen and should rock as the Metal Haze mom is one of my all time favs. SH='s (Metal Haze x C99) then the back crossing started. The bx2 male is soooo much better than the bx1 male.

I suppose that is one way of looking at it LOL .. Cause a clone is what $5.00 each and that sence of entittlement is more to cannabis and not to ppl .lol.. So sure you can kiss the ass of ppl that hold cuts but WHY?? LOL when you have your own you must always show through example as this is really the only way ppl will learn. it's not the cut they are hogging but the genetics and for that they should get a good kick in the ASS !!! but hey thats just me everyone has to find their own way and whatever works for them .
