Hey guys...

Nukkumatti, yeah they're gonna need some supports for sure. Probably will start seeing some noticeable bud development in the next two weeks.

SackO hey man, they're only under 1400 watts at the moment in the room they're in. I had another 600 watt in there, but it crapped out on me during the end of the last grow. I'm setting up a second grow room though and picking up another 2000 watts for that room. I'll probably move half the plants into that room when it's ready. I want to give these test girls the opportunity to grow to their full potential.

I should have thought about it earlier and put them in some tomato cages, but this is the first time with these strains and I let them get a bit ahead of me. I've got 2-3 stakes in all the plants now (might add a few more), and I'll be wrapping them in twine or wire around the stakes to help support them.

you can cut the tomato cages, open them up a bit, and wrap them around your bushes !! my chem and diesel strains grow loopy and viney so im always lookin for support !!

Great idea Whodair. I hadn't thought about doing that. I went to the hardware store to pick up some more stakes today and they're all out. I was gonna put two more per container and then wrap them every couple of feet with wire or twine. I'm gonna check another store and if I can't find them I might go with your idea. Might look a little weird this time of year buying tomato cages though. Thanks for the suggestion.

B. Self Reliant, hey bro, I've got to know you a bit from my Didgeridoo thread and the Didgeridoo social group, but I had no idea you were such a good photographer. I just browsed your Photography 101 thread and WOW. Very impressive! I should be thanking you for that thread. Makes my shots feel very amateurish. I'm looking forward to reading your thread in detail and learning from it. Inspires me to stop using my wife's Nikon 5400 and get a SLR and some nice lenses. Oh how I'd love to be documenting this test grow with skills like yours. Someday maybe.

Update, Woohoo...

Update, Woohoo...

The lights just came on in the grow room and the up to this point unsexed UKhem has finally decided to show sex and is a female. So we have UKhem #6 now. She was always the runt of the bunch and is about 3 feet shorter than the rest of the test girls so I won't be flowering her out with the rest of the testers, but will be saving her for the next round. I'm excited that it's a girl.

Picture updates coming this weekend. Flower clusters are forming.

Hey Sackoweed, yeah 1400 watts mights seem like a lot for some growing situations, but these girls are big and I'd really like to be giving them more light, but until we close on our refinance I can't use the card to purchase more lights. I knew I shouldn't have sold my other lights when I downsized. I'm really disgusted with this whole refinance thing too. We started the process in July. Locked in at an unbelievable rate though, so I don't foresee having to do it again.

I'm so envious of your summer grow. I'd love to be able to grow outside. Not gonna happen for me in the suburbs though,

Well it's been another week of flower. The girls will be going into their dark cycle for the fourteenth time tomorrow morning. So here's some pictures of where they are at. Still not much to see yet, but I think the stretch is mostly done. Maybe another week of stretching and then they should start packing on some weight.

Each Female will be represented with a Full shot followed by a canopy shot.

Well that's it for the pictures this week. I probably won't be taking anymore full plant pictures. Except for maybe right before harvest. Just canopy and bud shots from here on in. I hope everyone enjoys the shots. I've got some work ahead of me the next few weeks to try and figure out how to take some nice closeups of the buds. If anyone has experience with a Nikon 5400 or how to take better pictures I'm all ears.

Hey guys, looks like you're in the front row for this weeks viewing. I'm glad you like what you see. I'm really impressed with these girls too. The UKhem and Chemmy Jones are very uniform in appearance, and growth rate. That must be the Chemdog bx2 male in them. They were all topped twice though to be at about the same height. I've got no idea what's in the Secret Recipe's, but I really like them as well. There's some amazing smells coming from them, and my whole house stinks from moving them around for the pictures right now. My wife hates it, but I think it smells like heaven. Give it an hour and it'll smell like normal again.

Harem, that's funny. Yeah, I guess they are my harem. Only girls I'm spending time with other than my wife. Some days they're getting about equal time as her too. She doesn't mind though. It keeps me happy, she knows where I am, and she has her hobbies as well.
