This is Burmese Kush x Goo. I also recently ordered Burmese Kush from THSeeds from the boo. Burmese is a heavy indica from VISC,not members of this forum.

The plant in picture is now 3 times bigger and smells a bit like butterscotch.:)

I've been looking up info on this strain also because I got a pack of Burmese x Haze. I was told it is the VISC Burmese crossed with a skunky haze. My impression from what I found on Burmese is that it is considered a sativa, but it is short with wide leaves like an indica. It sounds great and I am looking forward to growing hazyfontazy's cross.

Just saying "Burmese", on its own, probably doesn't mean much, other than that it's ganja from Burma. Burma is a pretty big country, and I daresay that there is more than one variety of weed there.

Having said that, strains that are crossed with various Burmese genetics often appear on forums like these, and are - in general - worthy, motivational sativas.

Give those beans a whirl, you might get a pleasant surprise.

(Which reminds me, damn, I really must get those Willijuanas [BurmesexViet] going at some stage)

I'm sure there are probably indicas from Burma but when you here Burmese in relation to commercial seeds it's usually sats their talking about. Reeferman has a great burmese that hes worked for years and has a stellar rep.I'm hoping RM has got his shit back together, he was one of the best breeders of very unique strains, he had some tough times there for a while and his rep took a hit. I'm still willing to try his gear cause imop when hes on his game, there isn't much better.

I grew a strain called "Golden Burmese" about 7-8 years from Marc Emery. Growth was very Indica dominaant/christmas tree shape. High was more of a sativa up high.

The country formerly known as 'Burma' is actually called Mayanmar.

Our Fighting Buddha is a select Burmese Landrace Sativa X DJ's Blueberry (B130)... mostly sativa, excellent up clear high, not skunky at all... much more exotic and tropicl scented. REally enjoyable high... IMO it's the Burmese hybrid you want, but I might be biased! ;)

i've been meaning to ask around.
chimera's does seem like the best, right next to reefermans Pure.

i have a few seeds (less than 10 :( ) of "Burmese" from an oldschool grower in Hawaii.... waiting for the time/space :)

In bought something called burmese from a dispensary in berkeley about 8 years ago. It was not on the top shelf because it did not have the best bag appeal, but the smoke was amazing. Very motivating and inspirational but I have not seen it since.

Are you looking for the strain called Burmese from VISC? If so, I know of a place that carries them. Here is a description of it.

Burmese:
Burmese is easy to grow, easy to clone and very stable. The results are always pleasing to your senses. Her pungent aroma is immediately recognizable and her high as delightful.

Burmese has been one of VISC's flagships for over a decade and recently received BEST SATIVA at the 2005 Harvest Cup in Vancouver.

Don't veg too long to avoid height problems if you plant in a sea of green.

I love Burmese Kush. At least that's what my dispensary called what I tried and Loved!
I loved it so much, I then tried to grow it. I got a ten pack of T H Seeds, feminized Burmese Kush and went for it. Along with some other strains, I had sprouted eight of the ten seeds. they all sprouted, vegged nice, into flowering, and then it all went downhill from there. One showed to be hermaphrodite shortly after starting to flower others waited into late stages of flowering and surprised me, almost earning me a closet full of crappy hermaphrodite seeds. All the Burmese plants that grew showed to be hermaphrodite except one which made it to harvest as a female. It finished as a female but was pretty much but worthless as it was scent-less, taste-less, and not stoney at all. Nothing like the Burmese Kush or any cannabis I have smoked any time recently.

I wrote Adam at T H Seeds early this October and I was stunned by his prompt response and in a professional manner, he apologized, and explained that there was a mix up in packaging, a mess up, and that he was going to fix the problem by replacing my seeds. I wrote back thanking him and providing my contact info. Nothing happened and no response by email. After about a month I emailed again, and still no response. I hope is is going to be cool and replace them like he said he would. I have put a lot of effort, time, money and risk into the seeds that were a mix up.
Come on Adam, make it good. Please don't be my only burn from a breeder.:

As far as Burmese crosses, Reef's Viper (Burmese x Blackseed) was one of the best strains I ever grew. I got them back in the good RM times, havn't seen them available in a while but if you can score them or a cut somewhere they are well worth it. VERY unique taste, smell, bag appeal and superb high. I hope this one comes back. Very "sexy" weed!
I liked the burmese so much that I bought VISC's version but have not tried them yet. If they are anything like Reef's, and they might be as they are both canadian breeders,VISC may have sourced their genetics from Reef as his is well worked and supposed to be very stable, they might be just the ticket.

Have grown out only three crosses with burmese as a parent , half the girls from them had a revolting taste along with a unique terpene profile , even the dry sift was awfull.

Must be like Marmite , love it or hate it , could not give it away round here and they are not fussy tokers.

The other expressions were very good indeed barr a few intersex , and found some stunning males as well , Chimeras is on my list from a local reccomendation and will be documented in the new year.

VISC burmese is killer, I have grown 3 crosses from them and enjoyed them all they are underrated and the owner G is a stand up dude. The Fucking Incredible is also really nice if your looking for a tasty indica, it's seriously funky .. I wish I could describe the smell better but i'll try.. it has the sweet baby poo smell that I get from a lot of DJ's BB crosses but also a sharp kushy part of it. It also makes amazing yellow gooey bubble. :)

Chimera .. is your burmese mom the burmese clone from the island? If so I didn't know it was actually landrace I thought it got crossed to grapefruit or another indica ? Any thought?
