Hello Fellow Growers I just moved to California and was wondering what are some Hot strains at the moment and where can i get clones?
all legal thank you.

I was getting some tahoe OG clones and pre bubba-98 any thoughts? maybe NL too..?
Also popped a bunch of Dj shorts getetics.. Chimera, Mr.nice, and a lot of other exotics to try and get my own building block strain....

Your answer is simple. They want Brand name, well grown buds at ROCK BOTTOM prices. The cheaper the better. As long as it smells good and looks good and the price is right, BINGO, you gotta sale.
This rings true for most dispensaries, sad but true. I will however say that there are dispensaries that care more about the product than others. Just gotta find good people. Good Luck

Im curious how would a dispensary compare to an Amstedam coffee shop, do they have outdoor buds aswell as indoor? Hash? Import?

grape rom, bubba, sour d, blue dream, og kush, gdp, jack herer are all popular

grow some of djs blueberry the cut is out and i never see bb anywhere i want more of it.

I would get platinum og i hear its a big yeilding og. OG is really where its at if its well grown.

I usually see these strains on top shelf, there always seems to be room for AAA buds no matter what they are theyll just make up a name but maybe you will get paid less idk if they dont carry the name brand. hell honestly in most dispensaries I see mostly crappier looking buds so there is a market for everything.

Well most of the dispensarys carry a large shelf of cannabis and a large variety of edibles.. from bbq sause to soda and ice cream.
Also you can buy tinctures, consentrates and anything you can imagine....

I been to Amsterdam a few times and Cali really has it better so many quality genetics! not always but most of the time so life is good.

since you mentioned getting a tahoe clone, I'm assuming you are on the southern half of CA....

sorry to be the one to inform you that most dispensaries wont jump at those seed varieties you popped, unless they are grade A++ in every way shape and form, using CA top shelf standards to grade it, it really does need to shine....

Its all about OG Kush and Kush crosses right now, Chem varieties and purple aint got shit on OG for popularity.

you can still do well growing other strains, but hey you said hot ones


lots of people out here miss out on really high grade quality herb simply because its not the flavor of the month.

Still lots of learnin for the new heads here.

edit: dont get NL... nothing going for it except yield but that wont matter when theres so many other better flavors for the same price... unless you want to use it for breeding purposes...

I was gonna say, if it isn't OG Kush your rolling the dice. If it isn't OG they will:

Tell you to go away
Ask if they can hand pick only the biggest nugs (and offer you very low prices for even that)
tell you your weed is crap (even if it's better than EVERYTHING they have in the store.)
Offer to sell it on consignment. Maybe you will get paid for it. Someday.

Fuck dispensaries, they buy dirt cheap outdoor from mexico or Norcal and try to pass it off as top quality hydro. most of US know better, but they don't give us any respect.

I'd love to find a dispensary that would "recognize" but most of them are run by clowns just looking to fuck you over for a buck. Not me man, they don't deserve the high quality meds I grow.

Cool thanks I think the varieties I have will work out fine, I am an experienced grower that wants to provide only the best meds possible for a "guy like myself"

My friend just sold some NL the same cut I was thinking of getting because it finishes in the 50 days... for 3500 a lb...
Good price to me for half indoor half outdoor ;P

I used to harvest between 17 to 26 lb a month and that was all top quality genetics perfectly trimmed to perfection that made a lot of people happy flushed my grows for 2 weeks people were not used to commercial being top grade smoke smooth I guess so everyone loved it.

I will check out the cutting first and try to grow some genetics on the side so i don't get in the "old same cali genetics" list I need to bring the new.

It would be more leg work for sure if your on your own, but once it gets up and running, an employee would be appropriate. You could completely cut out the middle man, but it would be more risky I would think.

risky for now, maybe later along the lines but Im just trying to do what I love and love what I do
I believe many get busted for doing delivery services and i don't want to piss off anyone...
I'll just give my product to the many LA dispensaries that are happy to provide patients with Grade AAA genetics
I have Black widow and G13 widow from mr.nice that maybe are next in the list..
Popped some Bogglegum and Sour bubble and maybe doing the blue kushes....
so many strains i need to find my winers..
all my mr nice packs came with 22+ seeds those guys rock also a free pack for having my meds card.

people do multi packs of OG for <3500 out here... daily....

seriously I went to a co op one time and 6 of the 8 people there were vendors, weed doesn't walk off the shelf here because theres so much of it.
