well im not quit sure ,

but it looks like their is a small ball trying to form in the corner of one of the branches ,

i hope its just some new growth and not a male ,

but none of the other branches has this little ball sac forming like this one branch does ...

ill just keep my fingers crossed for now ...

Both sexes have a lil sumpin sumpin protruding from a node or two as preflower. What you want to see now are two white hairs coming from the top of that ball. A claw looking thing with no hairs will probably be a male.
Get a cheapo magnifying glass and you can spot em even earlier.

the more seeds you plant the higher your chances of a female and male ratio unless you use feminized seeds which increase your chances about 85%

im lucky to buy reg seeds when i can ,

and i can only grow no more then 2 at a time with my area

i wish i had more room but i dont

and its more room friendly if i just do one at a time

id love to have the space to grow more ,

but i got to make due with what i got ...

there is such things has hermies and also regular seeds found amongst feminized seeds so 85% chance sounds about right

It may sound right to you, but not correct.
First of all, you will see very few if any actual hermies in any commercial strain. Hermaphrodites are not what people are seeing when a female plant throws out a few male stamen. That is only the intersex gene expressing itself, and not a hermaphrodite.
A true hermaphrodite has both male and female parts on each and every flower of the plant. They are unmistakable....and rare.

And there are ZERO males seeds that come about from a feminizing. The only way a male could possibly come about from a female/female mating is a wild mutation. And in nature, we must account for a wild mutation because anything and everything is possible in nature. That is why you see the term 99.9% female on the packs, to account for the remote chance of mutation. But it is FAR more likely that the seller just accidentally put a regular seed in the pack if you actually found one.
It is just a genetic impossibility, throwing the .1% mutant factor out.

So just stating something that sounds right to you is not the best info.

I am not a big fan of GH seeds. I don't care much for AJ or some of the copies he sells.
However, it is my understanding that in Europe his gear is a top seller.
Top sellers don't become top sellers by putting out something folks don't want. The market is far smarter than that. If a product is selling and sells well on a continuing basis, there is something behind it. Something more than just hearsay and hype.
And on the same coin, if a person is putting out bad gear to the public, it doesn't take hardly any time at all before the market completely rejects the product(s).

BTW, I was talking about actual hermaphrodite plants being rare. I doubt many here have ever seen one. What you probably have seen are stamen brought on by stressing the intersex mechanisms most all plants possess, not hermies.

Harvest is the week following Halloween and the week of Thanksgiving for each !!

Im sure there is a reason but, why not veg at 18/6 for 7-14 days, nothings going to show sex that soon then flip them. Wont they grow faster with 18/6. If the reason growing from 12/12 is so there is no waiting to flower once there mature wont vegging for a week or two then flipping provide better results, like bigger plants?

Bigger plants for sure! Space is a major concern in many grows. This method allows a haze to be grown in a small box. Let one veg two weeks, and create an unruly monster.

The whole point of 12/12 from seed is to keep the plants small. Usually it's micro and cab growers who do it.

First post here, so hello my fellow growers!

I found this thread randomly and damn.. i need to try this. I like the veg part most cos you can control you plant better. BUT now i will give this a try! I will try this with my Afghan kush. Or you think that i should try it with Sam the Skunkman's Original skunk #1?
Anyone have experience of these strains with this method?
