Do I need to buy Government seeds

I will soon be a designated grower for af.Been going thru the application forms.The part pertaining to seeds sold by the Gov,t is hazey to me.Do I need to buy their seeds to be legit.I would buy them and used something else..but why go thru all the BS.Most Med growers I know are using anything but the seeds provided for sale by the Gov,t program?

No, you are not obligated to grow only their genetics. I would suggest trying a variaty of options to find which strains/cuts provide the most relief for your patient.

maybe it means that shit mix they are growing is NL. wouldnt surprise me, good NL is rare.

The Gov't weed/seed is a fully balanced blend of THC/CBD

and is totally crap around 9% THC , not sure of the CBD content but I'm sure they have sequenced and patented the gene by now.

I have smoked the product and it ain't very nice.Lots of stick & leaf to keep you busy....

Sounds pretty simple to avoid problems

Step 1- buy health canada seeds

Step 2- plant them in public property or use as bird feed or select elite health canada clone lol

Step 3- keep growing your clones ....

Many answers.The form is pages long and I,m sure they want the i,s dotted and t,s crossed so when it says seeds are available I figured sure order their shit and use my SSH from Mr.Nice.what they don,t know won,t hurt me.
I hear there is an increasing back log of application to get your card and I don,t want to rock the boat and slow the process down to a snail,s crawl...So I,ll buy their shit to keep them happy..that is if they could be happy.

I have in my 3 years of licensing never bought gov't seed, or weed
I buy clones from who ever, it's illegal for them to sell but not illegal for you to buy.
If you phone the health canada they will say you should buy from them but whatever
If you are licensed by health canada you can sell mj from license to license, this priviledge has been given to an MMAR already in court, the same would go for clones I suppose...

There in truth are few presidents set in Law but common sense should dictate your actions.

Searched on the site, & it remains unknown to me. Aren't all the seedbanks in the country specifically for this purpose, or are they just there to supply the black market with seed?

(Educated Guess - I'm pretty sure the seedbanks are for/are allowed to exist because of MMAR exemptions/exemptees. Proof positive is needed tho...)

No. In the paperwork Health Canada sends with your card it says it is not legal to purchase seeds from anyone other than from them.

They also state it is not legal to purchase or obtain MJ from a compasion club.
