hey bubbleman, Im getting my shit together to do another grow. And im pretty sure i found the same tent you are using At H T G supply. Im just wondering how sturdy it is, and is it totally light proof?

I was just going to frame up and insulate another big room, but when shit hits the fan it takes so long to rip down and dispose of a real room. Also 250 dollars isn't bad, if i pick up 4 of them it would be about the same cost as building a room. But they wont be insulated nearly as good.

Anyway, your plants are looking good and i will be following along.

hey mdk ktm. thnx for the comments. I will post up more on my current grow soon. The tent that I have has also came fro HTG. I think its pretty good and sturdy and I got a good bit a weight up there and its holding up very well. As for superior light leak perfomance it doesnt cut it. It wroks good with a little light here and there. But can be patched up with (black gorilla tape I recommend)

Hey all. hope everyone is stayin high and relxed. Ok well i did some revisions and not sure if I should start another thread but im just going to keep it in this one. Here is pretty much the breakdown of what is being used and some updated pics. Hope you enjoy Also I pretty much just copied this out of my journal so I didnt have to rewrite it out

Items List:

1 - XXL Tent(appx. 4 ft x 8 ft x 7 ft high
3 - 4 in vortex fans(only 2 being used for now)
2 - carbon filters(only 1 being used for now)
1 - Humidifier
3 - 400 watt lamps(only 1 being used for now)
3 - Air cooled hoods
3 - 400 watt hortilux hps bulbs
3 - 400 watt super-nrg hps bulbs
3 - 400 watt future Bright Ballasts(only 1 being used for now)
2 - 20ft rolls of 4 in ducting
20 - 4 in clamps(for ducting)
1 - digital wireless thermometer
1 - 50 ft roll of chain
1 - stanely blower(for intake temporarily)
1 - small oscillating fan(to cool ballasts)
1 - 20in Lasko oscillating fan(not in use right now)
10 - 7 gallon pots with trays
10 - 3 gallon pots with trays
10 - 1 pint pots with trays
1 - clonebox
2 - 5 gallon bucket(for mixing nutes)
1 - 2 quart pitcher(for watering)

Anyways here is my medium and nutrient line up that I,ve been using for years. I love the taste and the yeilds; well they speak for themselves

1 - 5 gallons of FF Liquid Plant Food
1 - 1 Gallon of FF Grow Big
1 - 1 Gallon of FF Tiger Bloom
1 - 1 lb of FF Open Sesame
1 - 1 lb of FF Beastie Bloomz
1 - 1 lb of FF Cha Ching
1 - 1 pint of SuperThrive
1 - 1 pint of Neem oil(for Bug and weekly plant maintenance)
1 - 1 pint of ph up
1 - 1 pint of ph down(You can substitute as I do ph down with lemons, works great)
1 - ph tester
3 - 1 1/4 oz of BonTone Rooting Powder
4 - 24 pack of grodan mm 50/40 2 in rockwool cubes(for clones and seedlings only)
6 - Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil

Hi BubbleMan, I have 3 questions for you, if you don't mind.

How long do you veg the ladies? How far from the buds do you like to keep the light with a 400w light? Have you tried scrog to see if it improves your yield?

What up D9 THC. ive tried some sog's and didnt like it. also with the 400's I keep them as close as possible as long as the top canopy is not burning my hand from the light then ill drop em right up to the nugs. With sealed hoods you should be able to drop em right on top. I have it a little high now for more light coverage. Veg time varies. I usually veg for a week and a half to 2 weeks but these ladies vegged for about a month with minimal growth due to stress. hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer BubbleMan! A question about superthrive, when do you like to use it (cloning, transpalnting, veg...)?

I like how you are giving the plants a big area to grow, and putting them in very large containers. I would love to see how big they have got under such conditions.

I wonder why you like such short vegging periods (< 2 Weeks)?

yes i use superthrive throughout entire time of plants. from cut to end of flower. N yeah local man - ill post up some pics when its done. weight dont matter - its the quality. But ill scale up the weight for ya when done and then you can rant and rave about it.

The stuff goes a long way and yes 1/4th tsp is correct. but i usually just use a cap full for a 5 gallon mix which equals out to maybe 1/8th tsp per gallon. what eva works for ya. but by all means whatever nutes you use always start with a little lower than the recommended then start weening em in. thats how I usually do it. Anyways. ill post up more pics in 2 weeks or so

Also been running into heat issues and some serious ph problems. no biggy though. just a little loss on yield Still doing good for me though. enjoy. next post in a week.

Another quick update. Day 59 and I decided to take a couple of the tops on the AK-47 and move the light closer for the bottoms to grow out. Had a hard time with these too due the extreme stress before flowering and during flowering. Anyways im gonna try to let the rest of the AK-47 go till about 70 or 75 days then chop the rest of her down. The White Russian I might take the top colas at day 65 and let the bottoms finish out till to or 75. Here are some pics. Also I will post total yeild after everything is chopped down. So far I took 1 little tiny popcorn nug off at day 52 and already smoked her. She was 2.4grams. I am weighing every little gram out This is probably only going to be a .5 gram a watt run due to the issues I had this run.

hey stagehand. not sure what I got this run. didnt weigh it allupyet. what i meant on my earlier post was that I chopped a couple smaller branches off before I chopped the crop down. I weighed up before chopping rest down and needed sum smoke. but yes they were small popcorn nugs that weighed a total 2.4 grams dry. I already smoked. anyways im not posting the totalweight. here are sum pics of all of it. O n my bad. i wrote that up wrong. i didnt take 1 little tiny bud i took a little branch that weighed 2.4 dry.Y would i weigh anything wet?lol
