OK now I'm with Ms. Babba. I'm just glad that our team made it here. It was funny my wife had a whole bunch of friends over during the game so I was holed-up in the TV room. Just me and the kiddos. I came out with both kids trailing me all three of yelling and screaming "We won, we won!" The ladies could not care less. Then one of them pointed out I was crying, I didn't even realize it till she said something. All I could say was "Sports tears are different!" What a great day and so special to have my kids there to see it.

Congrats to the phillies on having to watch yet another team drink their celebratory champagne in phiily. Congrats to the phillies for being the best of the losers in the national league. Maybe Chrissy Pronger can console roy halladay, or perhaps halladay teach pronger how to grow a beard. As i see it, in the last 10 years there has only been one world champion for all of philly. better luck next year. GO GIANTS.

Go Giants!!! Woot! I told my girl earlier this year (after the Rangers picked up Cliff Lee) that a SanFran/Rangers world series would rock.

Lincecum pitched here in town for the Volcanoes and I've been to over 150 baseball games in the Bay Area. (Mostly A's during bash brothers years, but Candlestick as well to see Will the thrill. )

Props to the Phillies for making it this far, remember they weren't fairing too well going into the final two months of the regular season. They came alive just in time to make it to the post season, but couldn't work through it.

You could say that their big bats let them down, but that would be diminishing the depth of the San Fran pitching staff.

On a plus for Pennsylvania fans, they got a nice consolation prize this morning being handed a football win.
