Gypsy Nirvana has an F1 Mikado x C99 cross right now for sale and you could easily make F2's of them and isolate more Mikado leaning plants if you wanted to but they will probably show up in the F1 generation anyways.

exactly! dont forget cover in trics at 3wk of flower! the original mikado beans we had from federation were from 97/98. we had 2 different phenos. one short squatty single cola (like dr young stated), and the other a little taller with more side branching. both had the single jagged leaf pattern, both finished at 49-55 days, both had a sedetive stone, but the tastes were completely different. the taller bushy pheno had the sweetest rasberry flavor (people still talk about the rasberry flavored outdoor!), to were the short pheno had a orange/hash flavor. we pulled outdoor the last week of august 2 different years, and the other 3 yrs were only in the first wk of sept. great strain for sure. last year i bought a 10 pk from hemp depot, but havnt had good results at all. only 1 fem from 6 popped, 3 didn't germ, and the 2 males we got wern't anything special. i still have 4 beans left, and i hope when i start some new moms next year i get one of the old keepers.
