IMO, I will agree with everyone who said peeps with already compromised immune systems can get very sick from smoking PM lung infections and otherwise.. No solvent extraction will get the spores out either...The safest way to ingest would prob be oral ingestion although everyone's body will react different to allergens..I have heard of people using lemon juice or citric acid to kill mildew in culinary applications

It's situations like this that decide the character of a man or woman. The options are to take the hit, not matter how much it might hurt, or pass the buck onto someone else. Essentially he gambled here and lost. Gambling in the sense that he put resources and effort into a crop that he was counting on, when it was an uncertainty if it would come out or well or at all. It seems like he didn't really intend on looking for advice at all, but rather to find someone to agree with him so he could feel better about a decision that was already made.

Farmers know that if they have a bad season, a pest problem they don't get on top of, or even mold or mildew like in this case that they can't control, then they could lose most or all of their crop. They operate under the principle of acceptable losses by assuming a portion of every crop(usually a pretty sizable one) will be lost due to insects or disease. You just lost a whole crop, throw it out, learn from your mistakes and don't let it happen next time. If you can't handle that then I have to agree with others saying you should just hang it up and try another hobby. It's not fair to anyone that smokes your weed if you are going to continue providing it even when it is not safe.

Manufacturing and then distributing an unsafe product of any kind is dishonest and wrong, whether you are a huge corporation selling melamine laced baby formula or just some dude passing off a doobie filled with PM to your friend. Even when you do tell people, most won't understand or know what it even means, or that it is bad, especially after you tell them "well I smoke it it's fine, and I'll take off $5!"

but ps. i did an electrical job at the green house. i am not a horticulture person. plants hate my fucking guts. i sprayed everything with Potassium Bicarbonate (Kaligreen) that i got at the greenhouse. No i dont have a fucking clue after four years. why am i still growing after all this torture? it's personal now. me vs mj. i want to choke it to death now.
the plants all liked the spraying. it took all day just for bloom and i have twice as many plants in veg and it's in there too. only one plant died from the kaligreen. the Serenade at triple dose killed the leaves it landed on. i will follow up with hyd.peroxide 3% at full strength. almost all signs of it are gone now. i dont have to rinse cause they absorb the potassium, but where else would toxins be except still there. so another douche for them in a week or so

i am totally well and healthy and now my lungs hurt from ONE hit with a BONG. it expanded like no other pot i have grown. got me higher on one hit than i've been in ages. there were six plants, my wife smoked a hit and her lungs hurt now too. so it's going into cookies cause i would probably light myself on fire trying to make bho

it is going to take all day again to spray everything down. i have been defoliating first to save spray and get better coverage. this blows. and no I AM NOT NEAR SIGHTED anY more. F U C K!

I love potassium bicarbonate, but mine is labeled as Green Cure. Unlike other pH changing substances, the bubble action kills spores instead of just increasing humidity. Also, it's safe to use up to a week before harvest, but will burn up ur hairs.

I think my plants love my sulfer burner, so it gets regular play for the first three weeks. It's worth the hassle.


Finally, I expect to get some shit for this, but PM is water soluble (not my terminology, taken from steep hill). After all the prevention and maintnence, when small patches are found at harvest, it can be washed off with luke warm tap water before drying. Not suggested for whole crop/plant! Just saying...

I know everyone doesn't agree with this method, but take it from someone who battled pm for years.

Milk. It doesn't do a GREAT job as a cure/treatment, but as preventative care, it kicks ass.
I use a 1:9 ratio of 2% pasteurized, but the article I read that went over it said raw milk was best.

It has potassium, in the form of potassium bicarbonate I'm sure. It also has other ingredients that boost the plants immune system, also the bacteria is said to take over the leaf structure, fighting out the mildew, but apparently that isn't long lasting.

Whats important I think is the immune system boost. I sprayed my plants everyday for about a week, then every other day for a few days, then every three days or so for a couple sprays then like 3 times a month maybe..

It can be sprayed through harvest also, and doesn't effect smell or taste.


Other products work, some dont. But this stuff is cheap, organic, safe, and it does work (for me, and others).
Best as a preventative (with other environmental issues worked out as well of course). I wouldn't really recommend it as a treatment for a breakout. But it will slow down infestation if continually applied.

What other fungicide can you spray into your mouth if you get thirsty during application? I dont recommend you do this though lol.
