No idea what you're on about brain

Word Origin & History

natural
"

Within the word "Natural" I can see another set of words. kinda like the word "Casino", most people that go to the casino lose their money, well "C-as-I-no" in other words
"See-as-i-no" in other words "see as i know". More underlying meanings "Govern'mint"= Govern money since "Mint is another word for money, why do you think the "n" in government is silent? so we dont hear it, the real meaning of things, its "Govern'meantal" its all on how you see or hear it. Mynd definitions are innate in themselves

BrainSellz, you really need to get a thread going on these word theories of yours. They're a bit out of my league but at least entertaining. :)

Pretty interesting study. I would've really liked to read the follow up in new scientist.

I thought only the bird navigation was innate, though I was tempted to disagree with all of the scenarios. All traits required an external stimuli in order to manifest themselves; I just figured that only the bird had a sure chance of being exposed to sunlight, so it might as well have been an innate trait. If the trait in the birds was to learn navigation quickly, yet only after being exposed to 4 hours of sunlight, that would mean that their navigation would have to be innate, because they all navigate. Some might just not learn as quickly.

I did dis-agree with all 3 scenarios. As you say all 3 needed external stimuli. In my opinion trait x was probably closest because it was found that almost all developed the trait eventually.:tiphat:
