Thank you for sure, just excited myself in seeing the difference between horizontal and vertical myself. Gunna test a few different setups up and see how they play out.

Temps don't worry me, if the wind burn issue happens then I will odds are have to cool tube them so I could just add them. Many keep telling me I can't get away with going without cooltubes WHICH might be the case but will cross that bridge when I get to it. I don't think a single 600 will be an issue BUT odds are 1k+ will be an issue and will deal with that when it comes.

I am thinking of doing 3 gallon square or 5 gallon squares IF I can fit them in the shelving units. I would LOVE to pull those yields for sure but will be thankful for anything I get since all of the seeds are untested crosses of mine. I wanted to play around with vert with my free seeds first and get the hang of vert then toss some solid strains in there like serious seeds ak-47, deep chunk and so on.

I think vert has the most potential for perpetual for me as well since I could simply add new plants into the mix as needed and have plenty of spots to fill.

I have an ac unit if needed but have decent temps to play with as it is. If it's needed then it will be added for sure.

Do you have any bud shots ALIGEE? from your vert grow or a link to your thread if one was made? Love to check them out.

Would you do 2 600's versus the 600/400 combo if you could or do you enjoy the hps/mh combination?

Tent = Air cooled.. its as easy as that you will see.

Not going to be playing with vert on this run, my calculations were off on my shelves and the 3 units will not fit in there.

I have decided to finish these 30 girls regular style but will be building up 2 vert cabs out of wood and custom making my shelving units so they can be moved up and down "peg style".

This thread can get pulled from vert damn it., totally bummed on this BUT don't have the funds to build up the cabs right now and quite frankly my patience is running thing in my personal life SO one thing I have learned is to not try and do anything BIG or DIFFERENT when stressed so I will finish this one out the regular way and when I have the funds and stress down I will then get my custom cabs built.

I run a 600w hps and a 400w mh w/ cooltube open end exhausting with a 6" vortex in a tent yield is outstanding bout 2.5 -3 oz per plant dried !using coco/ floranova in 3g grow bags temps are 80* or less depending on my room temps (got window ac in room ) gonna use 5gal square buckets from grainger this next run which is in progress now to try and gain another zip vertical is by far superior and I pass this info on every chance I get good luck I'll be watching ~aligee~!

aligee, thanks for the info! im running pretty much the same setup..well, actually setting it up monday.. 600hps on bottom and 600 on top, both in cooltubes in a 4.6x4.6x6.6.. gonna put the clones in 5gal bags, prob 9..

Trust me my next one is vert all the way and since I will be doing a custom cab I think everything will be even better than how I was about to run it. Also gives me time to mod my blueprints to include/exclude anything else as well.

12 3 gal bags is what I've recently finished up ! I'm going to do 6 square 5 gal buckets along with 6 in 3 gal bags I have the 600hps on top 400mh on bottom I love it the girls love it can't be happier I'm slowly trying to stop experimenting but it's hard ! no what I mean I have a thread on another site but it's un finished there pretty shady over there! anyhow I'm getting ready to get another cooltube and ballast asap I was pricing them today
thee 360 degree lighting of vertical is out if this world ! too bad no vertical this run bro you'll get to it no doubt !! I'm in the process of building a nice room w/ metal studs drywall.. so I'll be leaving the tents behind soon probably after this run is finished !!!gonna go roll a doobie half n half if some whitefire and headband !!I'll be back~aliG~!!

no doubt I'll start a thread asap for all ICmag fam on the wind burn its there but I'm not too concerned girls are stable no hermi issues running whitefire (holy Grail pheno!)!and
snowdog x sourD(yielder fruity pheno) I veg for no less than 14 days no more than 28 in 6" pots in growlab80 under t5s flornova grow then bloom when turned to flower and repot to bags buckets yields are two to three times more than horizontal in my experience black gold coco is mandatory for me I stock up when I can always have a couple bags around I hand water using tap i don't ph no more floranova is that good !! I have no pc right now just an iphizzle lol! so no pics I'm digging the vert forums here so far keep up the post yall
