ok gonna try to attach my pics and see if you guys and girls can confirm this is a heat issue. Im sure it is but I want to make sure.

Its bag seed and my light for it has been 70 watt MH. No ferts just some homebrew soil from good buddy that says it works great .

.... very hard to tell when plants are that young

What sort of homebrew soil is it ? Your plant doesnt need any nutes right now, and wont for a few weeks yet.

Never worked with a 70w mh before, 4 inches without a fan is probably too close for a plant at that age though.

Turn your camera onto auto and let it set everything, dont mess with the settings. Failing that turn on an operation called spot focus and point that little square that comes up on your camera at your seedling and you should get things in proper focus then. Again when plants are that small they aint the easiest to photograph either ;)

i would just a flouro for that small. A couple of things could be happening. is the pot and soil warm to the touch, if so, you could be cooking the roots. i would just get a flouro bulb and put it under that for the time being. a plant will not need much light this young.

Yes the soil is warm not to warm but enough to tell. I have a flouro I may throw it under till it gets bigger.

Thats what I tried first , put it on auto and the pics came out even worse. Its a 5 meg cam so I would think I could get decent pics out of it but maybe not lol.

Thank you both 4 your help. I will keep a fan on it and if it gets worse I will slap it under flouros till its bigger.
Edit: From what I was told theres no nutes in the soil but I keep seeing these tan balls of liquid that I would guess is some sort of nute. I was told it was great for seedlings . Gonna have to get a hold of my buddy and get his recipe so I at least know what im growing in.

from your photo i see the soil is kinda dry(seperating from the pot sides)' your MH light is too close for a seedling anyway, your backing it off prob fixed the situation already:watchplant:
just plain water for the first week or until first nodes sprout, but don't let that little precious dry out!!!
