if you had a "greenhouse" that was completely climate controlled like a well dialed in indoor room.. that is where outdoor usually is lacking... cold night, rain, bugs, outside forces... the Sun is a much better light than a HID, so create the perfect environment for the strain(s) that you are working with and it all of a sudden changes your whole greenhouse to indoor theory alot...

I don't agree with DHF. Cannabis "should" in an ideal society be legal and unregulated 100% but this will never happen. Right now people's lives are ruined by Cannabis everyday. People go to jail, families break apart, etc all over Cannabis (not even cultivation sometimes.)

You can't distill alcohol and you can't brew as much beer as you want, and you'll never be able to grow as much Cannabis as you want and sell it, either. The only way Cannabis will be legal in any way is when big businesses come in and decide it's a good business decision.

You preach to vote NO on prop 19 but this benefits the greedy growers who are making a killing on prop 215. We're glad you're making money and keeping the pot economy alive, but Cali should instead be focusing on the benefits for 99% of pot users and paving the road for legalization for the rest of the country.

Most people do not brew their own beer and spend the majority of their lives drinking supermarket beer. Most people will never grow weed and the majority of users will buy low quality mids. Nothing wrong with that.

You'd have to be either ridiculous or making a major profit off of the current laws to want to vote NO on prop 19. Cannabis WILL be legalized eventually and as soon as it does, big corps will come in and commercialize the shit out of it. This is inevitable. You can try to slow this progress down, but why not instead focus on adapting? If you can't make money growing, you can sure as hell make money teaching people to grow or selling how-to-grow videos. You'd make A LOT more money doing this if Cannabis was legalized throughout the US than you'd ever make selling Weed just in 1 state.

If there is one thing I have learned in Colorado,
Legalization has a price. They aren't giving it away for free.

For many it is the government they fear the most, not some story tale gangsters (i.e. Russian, Asian, Mexican, Black or White).

So many are willing to give up their freedom to grow whatever they want illegally, in a cottage industry, for the chance to have a 5'x5' space legally. Then pay the corporations, the government the media and the insurance companies.

Maybe it is inevitable that this is the course it shall take, given it's gaining popularity and it's derailment from counterculture to mainstream culture.

Just remember, ICMag's vision of a "Free Legal State", is just a pipe dream. It is you, the cottage grower in Cali that will inevitably pay.

Legalization will never, ever come without substantial cost. Don't believe me, just dig deeper into what is going on in Colorado. It will be sometime before it ever is "Just a Plant".
