CHEMJACK
(Chem-D x Jack Herer)

CHEM-D and JACK HERER are two of the most popular strains ever.

When you put them together you get CHEMJACK. A fully flowered plant will produce a sweet and sour smoke that has a strong head high and mild body effects.

This is a plant that will eat nutrients (like its Chem-D mother) at a high rate when flowering. The CHEMJACK will usually need more nitrogen than other strains. It will need the nitrogen longer into flowering also.

sounds very interesting for sure im thinking bout grabbing some !!!

This cross and my new JACK HERER OG are some of the best work I've done IMHO.
Each of them have been about two years in the making regarding selection breeding etc.
Expanded into a bigger place too and the results are showing.

the finished product sure looks good. you mentioned chem d as really sucking up high ppm's in flower. how high are you talking about? in my garden if I get the chem over 1000 ppm it loses smell and resin with loose buds. please elaborate.

This strain has run for me at about 1200 and the smell is off the hook with a sour sweet blend of aromas that drives my buddies crazy
The real secret to keeping this plant happy is the NPK mix.
It needs more N thru the flowering period than most plants do.
And a really good flush at the end will always help any latent smell issues for any strain.

strange, 1200 was what i was hitting her with when i had such bad results, and i flushed for 3 weeks, not saying your wrong just blows my mind . I lowered my ppms to 800 to 900 and the resin and smell returned with bigger tighter buds. go figure

Its a jack cross, Jack can be a nutrient hog. I have a Sensi pheno from the 90's that can take 1800 ppm no sweat...

the jacks, the chem and some UK cheese that i used to grow are all the same way.
lots of nutes and extra N

my jacktiva-jack herers take 1400-1500 easy and the smell is very Jack fruity

RB are you growing in soil?

yes FFOF soil
5 gallon pots or bags
indoor and outside.
The Chemjack has done well in both.
usually it's an organic nute run but I will occasionally use a nice bud booster if I feel like it or deem it needed, when I do it's usually on a smaller plant to help it bulk up.

that explains it, as soil buffers the high ppm, im in 1 gl coco. thanks for your info.

Who's Jack did you use in this cross?

This cross sounds really interesting, you probably already posted this .. but how long do most of the phenos run?
