Strawberry Cheesel & Hazolope... Watch em grow

Not much gonna be happening for a few weeks but just getting my log together for these beans.

The Hazolope's are from OJD's Connoisseur Genetics and consist his 'award winning' Cannalope Haze mother x Soma's G13/Haze Stud. Should be some nice stuff...

The Strawberry Cheesel is from Max Lumens via DocLeaf's Fritillary seeds. This is a cross of Rez's Strawberry Diesel for the dad and the exodus cheese for the mother. Haven't had any Sour D or Sour D crosses in a while so this should be fun.

Couple pics of the beans 5 days since I stuck em into the shot glasses to germ... They all had 0.5" long tap roots after 36hrs and were placed into seed/cutting compost with 25% perlite shortly afterward.... Which brings me upto date.

Thus far they have had a couple of splashes of water that has some rhizotonic @ full strength in it... Not had to pH the water as I am not feeding any nutes for a while which always makes life a lil easier.... Straight water for the first 3-4 weeks with a few additives and fungi/ bacteria to help em on their merry way.

Nice Shhhh.

Strawberry Cheesel [Suburban Seeds] is an energetic hybrid... makes some hefty plants and lovely flowers to smell, touch and look at,, to smoke it's almost "exclusive" material.. only a few packs ever went out ,, instant high that then intensifies and leaves ppl happy to ponder... it's the perfect gardening companion,, so if you like it ,, then dub it (clone it) brothers n sisters!!

We on this thread like a rash (if you want some photos sharing here then ask) :D

All the best
peace n flowers

Cheers JG & Doc,

I hope they turn out well mate, some nice genes in the mix so we'll see what my dodgy green fingers can do with em :D

As you can see in the first pic there is a bonsai mom in between the 2 sets of beans that was languishing due my lazy ass which I have now chopped to give space for teh new recruits... and some more light on ;) floro's that is :D

Hey Doc feel free to add many Strawberry Cheesel pics mate, I'd like to see how mine turn out compared to the originals. I forget... which batch of Strawberry D did Max pic the pops from?

Forgot to add, I know their quaters look rather ghetto @ the moment but they are booked into 4 star tent accommodation as soon as they get started.

At it again eh? Looks a lovely selection, the Strawberry Cheesel sounds particularly interesting.

When are you going to start applying Molasses/Panella mate?

I`ve noticed I give a stronger dose than yourself, though I flood it with a regular feed within half an hour of giving the molasses. I feed mine at 1 tablespoon to 10ltrs RO water, divided between 15 plants every other 2-3 days from week 5 0f 9 flower.

I`m going to give the molasses from earlier on next time around though, based on some of your thoughts and observations. How often are you going to be feeding M/P.

Good luck with this one mate, I`ll be tagging along for the ride.

Cheers, Toke

I forget... which batch of Strawberry D did Max pic the pops from?

The originals ,, Strawberry Diesel [Reservoir Seeds]

Both parents won the LGA Cup... 1st place Cheese ,, 2nd place Strawberry Diesel. The parents used in this hybrid came from their siblings. (I n I had the back-up clones of both, but mice ate the SD male in a glasshouse.. lol)

All the best

That Strawberry Chiesel sounds (and looks like a winner).
Every Strawberry D i've ever tried was outstanding and had a beautifully pronounced strawberry smell and taste to match so combined to Cheese should give out some very special ladies indeed.....add that to the Hazelope and your gonna have some serious tasty smoke, not too mention a nice spectrum of effects from the 2 strains too.
Thanks for sharing, peace.

Lmao @ toke I personally found that amusing.... lol, gutter humor ay :D

seems these strains are of interest to to yas.

Mr Celsius, eddie, tokesome, scrogger, truecannablis cheers for popping in :)

@ eddie- sure will be mate

@ toke- I'll be feeding m/p as soon as I get some more :D lol, I have some molasses which I will feed @ 1/2 my usual strength of 1teaspoon per US gal when these seedlings have their 2nd set of true leaves. When I get the Panela and they are gonna get that too @ the 1/2 reduced rate @ which point they will also get a pinch of piranha.

@ Scrogger - Maybe this time I can organize a space for the males and do a lil pollen chuckin to get some beans back to those who desire em via bay/ doc whatever. We'll see how that turns out but a rather like the sound of a clusterfuck between strawberry cheesel and hazolope as well as some F2's of each... I hope mine come out half as nice as those in the pics!

@ Truecannabliss, cheers mate... I am tokin on some connoisseur SSSDH right now she's a fisty lil thing :D Guaranteed to get you sky high... I hope the Hazolope is 'more of the same'. Always wanted the Strawberry Diesel but seemed to miss the drop on the OG one's the others I heard funny stuff about so left those alone. Any pics of the Hazolope's would be nice if yas have any on deck bro. Seen some on the Farmer I think...

SSSDH buds... Mmmmm :abduct:

I`ve only grown from beans once or twice, usually having access to a few decent strains from a group of close friends. But I`m thinking of having a pop at it one of these days. As there are definitely some strains I`d like to have a go at. I`ll have to come to the likes of you and Scroger to try and gen up on strain choices, whether fem`d seeds are the way to go, and getting a reliable seed source.

I`ve always thought it a hassle to go through the sexing, and then the variance in pheno`s before arriving at a 2nd or 3rd generation cutting that`s stable and predictable enough to get properly dialed in. I`m thinking of devoting one of my 3 trays of 5 plants, as I think I can handle (space wise) the rearing of seedlings in my clone cupboard, there`s enough height to put a shelf in if necessary. It`d just be timing them to be ready to go along with the other 2 trays of cloned plants.

The problem with getting cuttings from other`s to replace genetics is that I`ve found that they`re rarely kept to the standards that I like, its like people dont seem to look after clones as well that are for others as they do for their own babies.

Its time I dabbled again. ;)

Cheers, Toke:)

hyg, thanks for joining the thread bro, hopefully I can pull something similar off with these new 2...

Toke, I was the same for ages re- growing out seeds... I think it came from my early days on the boards when I used to take a lot of what a grower named Krusty (bucket grower) said as growing gospel, lol... He was really against beans and marc emery in particular... citing many occasions where people had grown out xyz only to find out it was utter bunk! Luckily a mate of mine was nice enough to give me a few clones so I was off to a good start, but I managed to loose these as you do as a newb and tried out some seeds he had also given me. These turned out nice and well the rest is history :)

Moral - beans produce some stellar shit... I quickly came to the realization that Krusty was very wrong (about beans anywayz) and there were some gems to be had.

Problem for me is as you say you can't predict what a pack of beans will give you, will the herm, be bunk, germinate? I guess as I have other clones running too I enjoy the adventure of starting up something new and finding what it has to offer. Something to keep things interesting, if you will.... There are a lot of good beans flying about now, the OG Kush18 that I done was spectacular mate no BS and they didn't have the kind of attention that they deserved, retrospectively, still produced the FIRE! Pissed I didn't take a cut as they no longer sell them, so I got some OG Kush x Sour Diesel instead ah well :D lol!

As long as you keep an eagle eye on fem beans you should be OK, mine had a lil beating but produced nuthin but fannys, no dicks or ladyboys in sight... I guess they can herm a lil easier due to the way they are produce but thus far I have only had problems with White Rhino fems from Greenhouse - strains cack anywayz so I discount that experience.

I'd say have a go mate- strain wise there is so much I wouldn't know where to begin mate.... I'd go for something with OG Kush or OG Kush dominant myself, it really is all that and a bag of chips ;)

Doc fook me mate that looks dense n frosty ass fook... thanks and keep em coming man!

So here's a couple of pics of them @ day 7 veg (10 days since germination- 7 days under lights)

3D Hazolope lol! :D check the left seedlings leave looks photoshopped or summin?

I noticed something today and I will keep track of it to see if my hunch is correct.... These Strawberry Cheesel are exhibiting varying signs of Phos def in the stems as the cheese clone does in my limited experience. Interesting thing is some stems are quite purple and others only a little... I wonder if this is displaying which ones lean towards the cheese spectrum of things? Just a theory... We'll see how that progresses...

Apart from a little over watering they suffered a couple days back they're all OK, only one runt- in the Hazolope camp, but even that has started to come along now. Couple of the Strawberry Cheesel's have those early trichs that some up on seedlings leaves, when rubbed I got a nice strong weed scent from it, hopefully an indication of things to come :joint:

Haven't got em on the molasses yet toke, will start from next watering though mate as that 2nd set of leaves in now coming along.
