What's new

Hawaiin Sativa!!!

I have recently recieved some seeds from a friend that was in Hawaii and got them from a local that has been growing there for years. He actually got them in some herb from the guy, it was his good friend. So we named the strain after him it is called Hiram and it is a new strain that has hit California. She is a 15 week pure sativa, super late flowering outdoors, started at the end of August. My plan is to cross her into something that has a earlier flower time. Does any one have any suggestions? I was thinking maybe a Kush like Bubba or Master. Here is some pics of here at the beginning of OCT!

Doesnt look the the Frost , But does look like a Hawaiian Thai of some type
some of the old school killer hawaiian were Thai/Haze hybrids...

Either way you have a very RARE gem, Pure Hawaiian Sativas are Super rare due to size and flower time...The short and faster indica strains have are mostly to be found in Hawaii now...

to speed it up hit with a fast indica..
Or you may wana find a quick flowering sativa of some type keep it in the sativa gene catagory...
no males in the seeds? thats what ya want...

Good luck and take care of her..

BrotherGanja don`t forget to SAVE IT IN PURE FORM! and share with someone because as already was mentioned this one could be some rare strain:joint:

Do you know what island he was on? That looks like it might be Molakai Frost

These seeds did come from the island Molakai, I call it Hiram cause it came from a man with the last name Hiram. But it was found in a bag that was grown on Molakai.

I do have more seeds available and I will be back crossing with itself to preserve the sativa genes for sure. Thanks for the help as soon as I have more seeds I will definitely be willing to share them with some kind of seed bank for sure. I wish I would have kept a male so I could get more pure seeds but we were not thinking when the male was alive and threw her away. Thanks for all the feed back guys and gals!!!

Now that I look at that mother it almost looks like a hybrid. But it still has the long flower time. seems to have descent vigor as well. I have one under a 1000w hps in a grow room and it seems to have attracted Powdery. I would like to cross it with something that shortens it up and has a better PM tolerance. It has gone through two rains and now mold but it isn't close to finish and will have to endure much more rain so we will see if it has any mold by the time it is finished.

Very beautiful !! it's great to see some hawaiian jungle mammas again...

personally, i would put some Mighty Might and some Leb27 pollen on her! mighty might - very early pure indica, and the Leb27 is pure sativa acclimated to northern climates, she is also very early....
Have you ever heard of Thaipan2.0 ? pure sativa from thailand, 100% autoflowering.

i've only got leb27 pollen, no MM or thaipan pollen currently in stock ;)
shoot me a PM bro.

best of luck! and i also agree, you MUST keep her in pure form!
the way to fully express the gene pool ; grow all the seeds you can get, and only cull out shitty plants that never catch up. let them all breed with each other.
then you have 10,000+ seeds to find your keepers with, and for everyone else to play with :)

peace brotherganja, and best of luck!

Odd a tropical strain with PM issues.... warm water with a lotta neem oil ,
could be frost Molokai is small paki community..
id get some more hawaiian of any type goin look for thin bladed males and knocker up

it does almost look like a hybrid.... however my leb27 , when young, looks like an indica... and thats pure sativa. as it grew it took on a much more sativa appearance in the leaves /stems etc

hrpuffnkush - where do you see PM ? it looks like glare/flash to me.

BG -- what is the aroma of her? have you smoked any yet? :)

Today my neighbor gave me some orange crush seeds. I was wondering if that would be a descent strain to cross it with. Has anybody experienced much Orange Crush?

Here is a pic update on the Molokai Frost!!

I have to say this lady is a sensitive bitch as far as being indoor. She seems to become more deficient easier than other strains I have been working with. The clones seem to have evolved a little and don't seem to be so nutrient sensitive. But the nugs look descent of her indoor. But IMO the outdoor looks, and smells the best!
