its my initial opinion that the trimmer blade plus the fan impeller just mutilate the trim too much....

I couldnt get a decent pull out of it, didnt put in a huge effort. Maybe more frozen? smaller batches?

Really?

All you "Twisters" and no one works the lawn clippings??

Looks like its BHO this year

which leads me to-----

How do I get a viscous extract without leaving solvent of any kind? without heating that is.

Ive seen runny honey oil that has no solvent fumes or bubbling

One of the 2 SantaCruz clubs carries a product like this. Its a "secret" technique by one individual I'm told

Reminds me of "old school" honey oil from the Dead lot scene back in the days. Of course, it was sourced from Humboldt then

heard the suggestion of glycerin? or something of the sort from another

I'd hardly call BHO's final product "oil" when done properly. more of a resin or something

@ B.Friendly

You are joking right? or have you not used both, or either of those 2 suggested OR the Twister itself???

No offense intended
And yes I've seen the others function in person.
Helped someone load a reaper to return it AAMOF

I can only agree with "a whole lot less".. money
and properly manicured meds:tiphat:

I was just saying the better machine does a better job. It just happens to cost a lot more.

We've already touched on the discussion of working together to build an equivalent but more affordable twister, and no one freaked out.

Lets see your $200 equivalent trimmer, you'd rage it if you could sell it, I'd sure buy one...
If it could bust out 300 lbs in two weeks and still be good to go after a thorough cleaning :)

You MUST have at least a few pictures of this spectacular machine you've manufactured but are keeping under wraps. Working on a patent maybe?

How about a side by side example of your machines trimmed meds next to the Twister trimmed meds.
or even next to the trim pro's- thats a cheap one you must of at least seen used.
Or rent the reaper from a local farmer and do some comparison to your machine.

put up or shut up, show some pics, be assertive

your verbal spasms dont help the community in any way.

B.Friendly??? Far from it Dude

Wow man I watched that video the guy did a horribly bad job of trimming. Killed his own video at the end with that close up of not even half the trimming done.

That's the company's video, not his, I dont believe it is anyways

Trimpro can be really helpful for the bucking process
but it wont get those stems off, leaves crows feet after curing

5-7 people around my table back pulling (down the stem) snaps the whole fresh leaf n stem off
a few of them "buck" the flowers from the stem first and pile those for the others whom flip the flower then back pull the smaller leaves off the bottom of the individual flowers, the larger fan leaves fall off by the bucking process anyways.
They pile it in front of the hopper and I feed it through.
Depending on the strain, 3 of us can "clean up" 20 lbs of dried twister herbs in a day.

Now that clean up can be bubble hashed pretty easily which is the

--Subject of this thread----

My point is CA has pretty high standards for club meds
the "brokers" who dont care are usually shipping out of state.
Michigan or Arkansas would LOVE to have some trimpro'd only herbs.
That's not my game man

Thanks for stoppin in

I have wanted one of these (not your specifically just a trimmer) but fear that I will be dissatisfied ya know? I personally just don't like to leave any leaf on there, some people do. I guess no matter how I look at it I will always have to do more work to get the buds to how I prefer em. To be honest I agree people in non med states really are not picky and smoke what they have coming their way no matter what from my experience and I can see how this cuts out a lot of time for you as part of a multi step trim process. If you could ever show some pics or a vid of your process without compromising your security I would sure like to check em out. Thanks!

Thing is

the machine is only as good as the operator

it dumps finished flowers by how fast i feed.

It also performs different on different strains as well as health of plant
stiffer indicas (The Purps) left a lil more leaf
Sativas had thin water leaves that trimmed right down

Some nights we jammed product through, that stuff needed to be cleaned up a bit more but still was like a lb an hour per person.

Comes down to, you can 90%ish process a #20-3#0 crop in a full day
cure for a few days and finish clean in a day or two with three people

Been doin this for a long time and the smoothness of it all flabbergasted me.

Now throw in a 100plant crop, or 300 plant crop and there is no substitute.

Like I mentioned in a response to Humboldtlocal, we had a very polarized farm this year. Spiritual vs cash money. Spiritual hated the machine process and all, except when it came down to the 500+ gallons of little it bitties that the machine does wonders with.
These would of never saw the drying rack or # separation because there are nearly impossible to trim dry. I saw the machine get paid for twice over in just little scrapple. Actual smoking size bits that are marketable.
He prefered to hang the massive tops and do those by hand.

Mr. $ wanted to shove it all through and be done because trim scene can get very expensive and nerve wearing when done with a bunch of people over a long time of long days, feeding housing etc...

I was so thankful to have it to get done with our 12 plant crop in 2 days, but we still cut big colas before the rain to hand trim, left the bottoms for almost a "step" harvest.

Always did without it, did it untill janruary some years.
I've been done with two farms:wave:

I could show you beautifully trimmed, cured stuff we let sit in there a bit and tumble around and w the same strain show the "shove it through" pace, still quite a whole lot better then the trim pro job, but needs to be hand finished.

Pace and skill of the buckers is another factor too. We could hand strip right down the stem and throw it in, left alot of crows feet though, no matter how long it tumbled
or take time and separated the flowers and bottom water leaves n spin it, with not too much more effort.

It had a huge learning curve
not just strains, but ambient temperature, turgur pressure of the plant, machine sanitation, vacuum filtration, impeller gunk, general outer wetness of the pant, size of the buds, my patience after 10 hrs, etc etc etc

The trim scene was slammin busy, I posted most my trim shots in my link to the positivity grow, didn't really have time nor really want to expose the "grey" area of the whole season

But even if I did, I could show you shots you'd fall in love with the machine and I could show you shots that would make you reject the whole concept.

I liked it a lot,
didn't love it though
Its noisy and wears on you, no social aspect if u like the trim scene
Ill use it again and again
but not for everything I do...

I say if you go big

GET IT

Its a beautifully built machine that will last for a long time with proper technical care

you dont like it, someone will buy it for sure, no depreciation. seeing theyre not available any more... for now:tiphat:

I have been using Trim=pro (or is it spin pro?) trimings for the last few runs, average about 3-5% in a tumbler, and 5-10% with bubble-bags.

It has a 'greener' smell, but is still potent.
