Great cab you've got there dime. I'm actually starting to believe I can do something with my 400w because of threads like this.

Man, my stash is running low and Im still a few weeks out of harvest. But on a good note, I have my first Blue Satellite 2.2 and Satori clones rooting, and should be sexing as soon as my harvest comes around.

Heres the SSSDHxG13. Shes now at 14.5 weeks of flowering...STILL going strong. Trich production is finally picking up, and her sour stink is getting slightly sweeter, but still stronger. Shes not the healthiest plant Ive grown, shes getting brown spots and yellowing leaves, cant seem to keep her happy. Pistils are just now starting to turn amber, and shes getting a little more dense, but honestly not much.

Heres my 16oz C99xDC, at 6 weeks

And my C99xDC at 8 weeks, not as much yield as my last C99xDC, but I think she has better trich production

And heres a concern of mine. Im having issues with some of my leaves. It started in my little midget PPP, and I thought maybe I had messed it up somewhere in the cloning transition, but now the same problem is happening to my C99xDC. The leaves are turning to a light brown/copper color. Its starting in between each vein in the leaves, and slowly spreads through the whole leaf, and eventually crisps the leaf up. I dont think its the heat, as I havent had this problem with any other harvest. Any ideas? Ive been doing some research and so many deficiencies have such similar symptoms, its hard to tell, so Im hoping someone with a little experience can shoot me some ideas.

2 updates in a day?!? well it comes in good reason. What started out as a simple water change soon became Maintenance & Upgrade day

So, whats new? Well, heres a shot of the new set up, if youve been following closely, you may notice a few changes.
picture.php

I'll break it down for you:
Fresh paint job: old paint rubbed off a little from edges of the pots, and had some scratches here and there from moving stuff, so a nice new flat white coat was applied.
Removed air pumps=More room: I previously had both bulky air pumps in the chamber, but have now moved them to the utility shelf above the mother room. I drilled and light proofed a hole for the 4 airlines to come in, right along the front wall.
New adjustable fan: Im not sure what this flexible piece is called. Its used in factories as adjustable air line for blowing or cooling, probably other uses for them too. Ive heard them called "blower snakes" anyways its just a bunch of ball joint/bad mitton shaped pieces that snap together, and can adjust to any position for a strong, tight hold. This will be great for adjusting a good breeze in any direction and manuever around plants as they grow. This fan will be upgraded soon.
Better, more efficient cooling: This comes from a number of reasons. I disassembled my fan and throughly cleaned it. Also, when the air pumps were in the flower cab, I had to smush the power cables between my exhaust connections, creating a pretty big gap and air leak that tape couldnt help much with. I now only have 3 small 16/14g wires going between the tubes, and it was easy to tape over for a nearly air tight seal. I retaped all exhaust connections and went strong on the aluminum tape, which I think creates the strongest, most durable seals. I also firmly secured my 120mm fan to the cool tube, slighly lower than centered, so that a nice breeze sweeps below the cool tube. Add this to the new adjustable fan and the heat loss from removing the air pumps, I think I should see a significant drop in temps. We'll find out when the light turn on!

Here they are about to go to bed. I seriously love all this new room to better adjust plant positions.

And I realize I never post pics of my mother room. Its mainly because I stank and soil growing and my mother always look like hell. Well, Ive been doing a little better, so I'll let you guys see whats going on.

My favourite 150w hps-thread. Nice, clean setup and quite selection of mothers in small space, efficient.

ssdhxg13-plant seems to be on the hazy-side of expressions, hope the smoke is devastating!

Nice job, it looks all nice and in order too. You have a lot of moms, is it hard to maintain so many?

thanks man! It does take some time, but I wouldnt call it hard work. i have room in there for 8 mothers in the 1g pots. I have so many in Solo cups right now because I wont move them to big pots until I know I want to keep them. Right now, those are the hardest to maintain, because I HAVE to water them every day. Once they go to the big pots, I can cut it back to watering every other day. Then I just have to do some trimming every week or two to keep their sizes down and out of the light. It ends up being probably 20-30 mins a week in upkeep. Its not much, I enjoy it, I even get bored around the house and wish I had some work to do in the garden, hah.

Thanks brother, Im glad my grow stands out!

Yea, the SSSDHxG13 definitely seems hazy to me; tall, lanky, not too dense, foxtails etc. And of course the flower time. I can adjust for flower time next run (satisfaction pending) but Im just bummed right now, as I thought she'd be done 2 weeks ago, and Im running out of smoke. But I prefer a sativa buzz, and if the product is good enough, I'll keep her in the garden. Hopefully she'll finish one of these days and I'll be able to find out haha :tiphat:

Hey guys, Ive got a question for any of you out there who may be watching. I think I read once about a nutrient deficiency that would keep plants in the flower cycle, not allowing them to finish. Or maybe Im thinking wrong and it was a deficiency that would prevent plants from flowering even under 12/12.

I just dont see why my SSSDHxG13 wont finish. Im 3-5 weeks past the suggested flower time, and still dont see a finish in the near future. Anyone have any insight on this?

Personally I would start cutting out pieces that are done at least for some smoke. Maybe this sativa doesn't show amber when finished, or maybe there are windows you need to harvest within.

Nothing looks done yet, haha! No amber pistils, no amber trichs, and continued calyx growth. Maybe I just got a haze dominant pheno, but I wouldnt expect this much longer of a flower time

Im really excited about my revamp. Temps are now at 78-79* steady, every time Ive checked in the past week. Im excited to see how this affects the new plants I put in and how much it will really effect my yield and quality. Only good things can happen from that, right?!? :smoker:

SSSDHxG13- 111 days (almost 16 weeks) - starting to dense up a bit more. I will definitely do a 2 stage harvest with this girl. The upper buds are finally showing signs of aging, and Im going to say, for probably the 5th time, that I think shes got about 2 weeks for the 1 stage of harvest, then we'll see what the lower buds are looking like.
**also seen is my sad, puny PPP at 7 weeks.

C99xDeepChunk - 68 days (almost 10 weeks) - Started flushing her yesterday. I want to chop her a little earlier this time and see if I can get some of the stoniness out of the high. She totally covered in trichs. Ive been working on taking better close up bud shots, and shes the perfect model.

16oz DWC C99xDC - at 7 weeks, shes got about 4 to go. Cant wait to see what she yields!

Oh, I should also add, Ive got some new nutes coming to try out. I got a container of Maxi Bloom to try out, maybe a powder will help me get some nicer, cleaner roots. Im not disappointed with FloraNova, but it'll be nice to have something to compare it to. Its also pH buffering, so it should hopefully work well. I also picked up some BC Awesome Blossums to hopefully add a little weight to the ladies. And lastly, some Humboldt County Snow Storm, to hopefully add some resin. We'll see if things improve soon!

You'll be thrilled with the lower temps. I had some temperature issues myself and it was killing my yield, stressing the plants out... not to mention all the extra water they were using... Somebody has to carry that shit...

beautiful plants. I'm impressed as always...

Just one thing... I know you've already modded the cab, but why not run the lamp vertical? Then you'd really be using that space to the max. :)
