Secret Banking Cabal Emerges From AIG Shadows- Bloomberg News

Honestly, I don't understand why Americans have become such pussies. In the entire human history, there has never been a real change in a society that didn't come violently. Until Americans accept that fact and pull their socks up, this shit isn't going to change.

Economic conditions generally dictate how docile a populous is. When everything is hunky dory nobody cares. It's only when things get shitty that people start looking around and ask, "What the hell is going on and why?"

Hayman Capital's Kyle Bass predicted the sub-prime implosion and made a ton of money off of it. He's from the Austrian school of economic thought as I am. At 28 he was the youngest Managing Director of Bear Sterns and Co where he worked from 1994 to 2001.

Here he is on CNBC explaining the most likely scenario for our future. The videos are quite long, but it just might be the most important thing you ever watch.

VIDEO HERE
Zero Hedge

An interesting observation he makes at the end of the second video when asked if we are better off or worse than when the system collapsed in '08 was. "How many problems have you kicked down the road that have actually gotten better?"

Want to re-think that statement before leaving it for the record? I mean, a simple understanding of American history in the 20th century already proves it wrong but I'll give you a moment to collect your thoughts and try again.

It isn't that Americans have become pussies. Although, the post 9/11 fear mongering definitely put fear in some of them that hadn't been before. Don't feel bad you can't understand it because a lot of them can't understand their fear themselves. It's irrational. But the suggestion that violent uprisings have always lead to "real change" speaks volumes for you. Tell that to the Kurds. Or the Palestinians. Or... you get my point, I hope.

I think you're confusing (or equating, to be fair) technological progress with social change. I happen to equate enlightenment with change. I mean, shit we've had plenty of technology to create a world for ourselves that would provide us with all we need or could ever want. But for some that isn't enough, and for others sharing it with everyone is unacceptable.

As individuals and collective societies we apparently still have some hang-ups we don't seem willing to let go of and worse, some that we don't seem willing to address. And these are not necessarily new. They've been around in most western societies for hundreds of years. All the guns and bullets in the world haven't seemed to make much of a dent in that. In fact, they've seemed to just make it much, much worse.

You can throw generic rhetoric at me as much you want, but we're in the 21st century now. Americans are the fattest and rapidly becoming the most unintelligent people on the face of the earth. America is the most corrupt country in the World. And this dickless empire has been responsible for more evil and the murder of innocent people than any other country in the world in the last 20 years. Also we are completely fucked economically, educationally, and in a societal sense. Meanwhile people like you still think we still have some manifest destiny without waking up to the realities of humanity or the world around them while this shit crumbles and you continued to get raped every day.

And none of it, not a god damn thing is going to change until the people get so frustrated and are so fucked that they start rising up. It's not going to happen until they realize that "free speech zones," letters to the editor, petitions, and any kind of peaceful protest doesn't do a fucking thing in this world. Because for any kind of significant change to happen in this world, someone who already has a lot of fucking money is going to have to lose some of it. And why would they ever want to lose some of it for an insignificant piece of shit subject... I mean citizen like you? Especially when they can play word games to keep 95% and growing of the retarded segment of the population docile and appeased.

WE'RE PULLING OUT OF IRAQ!
By leaving 50,000 troops and doubling the number of American civilians in Iraq.

IT'S ONLY A DOUBLE-DIP RECESSION!

IRAQ HAS WMDs!

THE MUSLIMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11

My fucking nuts in this faggot country.

I don't even know what you're bitching about, but whatever. You can think technology is going to cancel out several thousand years of recorded human history, but you'd be wrong. But it really doesn't matter to me. I've given up on America and Americans. Just don't come on my property and we'll be cool.

If you think this country is so fucking great. Why don't you go try to walk in front of a police station with a bag of leafs from a naturally growing plant. Then you tell me after you've been booked and released on bail that this place isn't a fucking joke. And you know why that's going to happen to you? Because some rich faggot back in the day told our government that plant makes black men go crazy and rape white women... meanwhile he just developed a competiting fabric to hemp that wasn't nearly as efficient, safe environmentally, or had nearly as many uses as hemp. But since this faggot was rich and influential, suddenly you and me have to use fake names and guard hard against our identities to grow a natural occurring plant almost a FUCKING CENTURY LATER and risk getting thrown in jail because this rich faggot wanted to make a lot of money and fuck all of us in the process. So now we get our lives destroyed, out-casted from society, and several years taken away living in a cage for growing a natural occurring non-harmful plant. That is what America is, rich faggots fucking everyone else. And you're fucking ignorant if you don't know and accept that.

A little heavy on the "f-word" but otherwise spot on

Sorry... I kind of went off.

I drop the "f" word when I'm angry at other men. I really don't mean to offend anyone with it. And I certainly don't mean it in any kind of derogatory sense towards gays. It's more a challenge and insult to one's manhood and it's a part of my vocabulary chiefly because growing up that was the one word that would always instigate a fight. But I would understand if people lost respect for me because I dropped it so hardcore in my last post, but I was just writing like I would normally talk... and well, like I said anger crept in.

And I'm not mad in the least at whoever I was responding at and I'm not directing any of that language at him. Mainly, that was an essay directed at America.

And fuck is the most versatile word in the English language. :D

I thought half of the argument about these particular conspiracy theories that think 'the man behind the curtain' is too smart to get figured out.

First off, define "conspiracy theories"

from definition.com
con·spir·a·cy
1. the act of conspiring.

2. an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot.

3. a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose: He joined the conspiracy to overthrow the government.

4. Law . an agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act.

5. any concurrence in action; combination in bringing about a given result.

That sounds pretty board to me. A lot of corporate malice seems to fall under "conspiracy."

Let's define theory.

Main Entry: the·o·ry
Pronunciation: \ˈthē-ə-rē, ˈthir-ē\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural the·o·ries
Etymology: Late Latin theoria, from Greek theōria, from theōrein
Date: 1592
1 : the analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another
2 : abstract thought : speculation
3 : the general or abstract principles of a body of fact, a science, or an art <music theory>
4 a : a belief, policy, or procedure proposed or followed as the basis of action <her method is based on the theory that all children want to learn> b : an ideal or hypothetical set of facts, principles, or circumstances —often used in the phrase in theory <in theory, we have always advocated freedom for all>
5 : a plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain phenomena <the wave theory of light>
6 a : a hypothesis assumed for the sake of argument or investigation b : an unproved assumption : conjecture c : a body of theorems presenting a concise systematic view of a subject <theory of equations>

Sounds pretty broad to me.

What I'm arguing here is simply what I believe to the failure of Keynesian economic theory vs the reality of Austrian economic theory. The implications of failing Keynesian economics has vast implications, both socially and macro-economically.

I believe it folly to associate the Austrian school of economic thought with the pop culture and MSM media definition (with all its connotations) of "conspiracy theory" when all we all we are really discussing is different schools of economic thought.

GR, that would've been a good post if half of it wasn't based on you making assumptions of how I think or what I know and don't know. Not to mention you trying to imply that I've made certain statements that I clearly did not. High irony that you accuse me of rhetoric when you cling to your narrative all else be damned and say silly shit like this...

Meanwhile people like you still think we still have some manifest destiny without waking up to the realities of humanity or the world around them while this shit crumbles and you continued to get raped every day.

and this

America is the most corrupt country in the World. And this dickless empire has been responsible for more evil and the murder of innocent people than any other country in the world in the last 20 years.

and of course this...

If you think this country is so fucking great. Why don't you go try to walk in front of a police station with a bag of leafs from a naturally growing plant.
Here's the clincher...

I don't even know what you're bitching about, but whatever. You can think technology is going to cancel out several thousand years of recorded human history, but you'd be wrong. But it really doesn't matter to me.

You don't even know and it doesn't really matter to you. Exactly. Like a good American, you're highly opinionated and poorly informed. Still waiting for a response to the claim about violent revolutions always leading to beneficial change. But it doesn't matter to you because you want to rant and rave about fat, dumb Americans and the police state. News fucking flash. What year is this, 1987? Thank you, GR, how would we ever know the truth without you!

Please, you sound like a college freshman who just read Howard Zinn for the first time and can't believe how much bullshit you've been fed by your gov't & media. Like I said earlier, some of us well aware and have been for quite some time and (gasp!) actually do something about it. You can swear up a storm and get all pissed off but that don't change the facts, hard as you try. Its indicative of who you are that you think you know me and how I live so it fits your narrative. Someone who claims like you do to know whats up ought to know the world isn't black & white. Your arrogance is so American. ;)

:joint:

When did i say it always leads to beneficial change? And I still don't know what any of your points are other than to criticize my opinion. And no, I really couldn't care less about you... this is the internet.

So in the world of Secret Banking Cartels.....who are these guys?

Bank For International Settlements.

They describe themselves as the bank for central banks. Located in Switzerland. Who regulates them? Nobody. Are they looking out for your best interest? That's for you to decide later.

About BIS
The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is an international organisation which fosters international monetary and financial cooperation and serves as a bank for central banks.

The BIS fulfils this mandate by acting as:

* a forum to promote discussion and policy analysis among
central banks and within the international financial community
* a centre for economic and monetary research
* a prime counterparty for central banks in their financial
transactions
* agent or trustee in connection with international financial
operations

The head office is in Basel, Switzerland and there are two representative offices: in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and in Mexico City.

Established on 17 May 1930, the BIS is the world's oldest international financial organisation.

As its customers are central banks and international organisations, the BIS does not accept deposits from, or provide financial services to, private individuals or corporate entities. The BIS strongly advises caution against fraudulent schemes.

I had to repost this bit.

I added the link. Sorry. The rant was from the writer from Bloomberg.

I think you'll understand the pitchforks comment in a couple of years when the effects of our monetary policy become more evident to everyone.

The death of the Glass Steagall Act and the removal from the gold standard was the death of the legitimacy of our banks. Fiat currencies and centrally planned economies will fail once the Keynesian endpoint is reached.

The Keynesian Endpoint: when your debt service exceeds your revenue. Debt payments greater than money you make, you’re in a permanent structural deficit.
Japan and Greece, to name a couple are at the Keynesian endpoint. We are quickly getting there and if you looks past the accounting shenanigans of the government stats, we are already there. The only two options are to default on the debt by a sovereign write down and cause a deflationary collapse, which is what Greece will have to do or monetize all your debt and cause a hyperinflationary collapse of the currency which is what Japan will probably do because they have a central bank that can print worthless paper.

When central banks are allowed to create bubbles they are going to burst. Since '08 our central bank has been in the process of creating the mother of all bubbles in an attempt to paper over the bursting of the real estate/credit bubble. If you do not let the market reset and heal naturally we are only prolonging and exasperating the misery we will all feel later.

We are no longer in a cyclical market anymore. What we are experiencing is a secular change. It happens about once every 100 years.

:blowbubbles:<---- The FED blowing bubbles.

Keep a close eye on the financial markets. It's going to be interesting.

Europe Prepares for Bloodbath Open After Ireland Lowered By S&P To AA- From AA, Outlook Negative Zero Hedge

From S&P:

Overview

* The projected fiscal cost to the Irish government of supporting the Irish financial sector has increased significantly above our prior estimates.
* We are therefore lowering our long-term sovereign credit rating on the Republic of Ireland to 'AA-' from 'AA'.
* The negative outlook reflects our view that a further downgrade is possible if the fiscal cost of supporting the banking sector rises further, or if other adverse economic developments weaken the government's ability to meet its medium-term fiscal objectives.
Oh, yeah throw Ireland onto the pile of soon to be JUNK status countries with sovereign debt crisis. They can't print money so like Greece it will be a deflationary death spiral. Game Over.

S&P Ratings :biglaugh: Moody's Ratings :biglaugh: Does anyone really still believe this bullshit after they swindled everyone with their bullshit AAA rating of all the JUNK status mortgage security CDO's (Collateralized debt obligations) that imploded all over the world in '08.

I think you are all right.I like how the one person said it " a Revolution of Self ".When you think about that term it can say what both of you two have been going back and forth about.Anything thats as vast as the undertaking you are talking about must have as many prongs or fronts as possible. And to be honest it would be best to begin with if they didnt even know about each other.Harder to stop that way.Harder for infection to spread from one body to another without contact.

I don't think that america intends to pay off its debt. Why would they? Our biggest debtor can't exist without us. It really is all just funny money in the grand scheme of things. If the central bank decided to pay off all the debt in one fell swoop they could, it's all just accounting trickery.

That's the whole problem. We can't numerically pay off the debt anymore. Yeah, they could print $100 trillion to meet our "official" lol unfunded liabilities, but then everyone's money would start to become worthless. The fact that the Dollar is the world's reserve currency is about the only thing propping us up at the moment. If confidence is lost in the dollar then there are going to be big problems ahead. There are serious macro-economic and social consequences to not being able to service your debt and everyone else knowing that you'll never be able to properly service your debt. You are considered bankrupt at that point.

To say the FED is between a rock and a hard place is an understatement. Despite what the American's think, the world can survive and thrive without us. It would be a serious depression and adjustment, but the world will recover a lot faster than us because many countries still produce something. We export scrap metal from our dismantled industrial base and inflation.

St Louis Fed Explains Why The Fed Has Cornered Itself Between Deflation And (Hyper) Inflation
In its September Monetary Trends letter titled "The Monetary Base and Bank Lending: You Can Lead a Horse to Water…" the St Louis Fed analyzes the phenomenon that has all monetarists up in arms, namely the surge in the monetary base and the very muted increase (and outright alleged drop in the case of the M3) of monetary stock, going back to the core topic at every debate over hyperinflation/deflation: the money multiplier, and its current reading of well below 1. What is the reason for this discrepancy: as the St Louis Fed explains: "The answer centers on the willingness of depository institutions (banks) to lend and the perceived creditworthiness of potential borrowers. A deposit is created when a bank makes a loan. Ordinarily, bank loans—and hence deposits—increase when the Fed adds reserves to the banking system. How ever, despite an increase in reserves of over $1 trillion, total commercial bank loans were some $200 billion lower in May 2010 than in September 2008. Banks added to their holdings of securities, which resulted in a modest increase in deposits and the money stock, but many banks were reluctant to make new loans." And herein lies the rub: if and when the economy ever picks up, and at this point that looks like an event that may well never happen, "Many economists worry that bank lending and monetary growth will eventually surge and, ultimately, cause higher inflation." The backstops offered by the Fed looks increasingly more brittle: reverse repos and IOER. The longer ZIRP continues, the more aggressive the Fed will have to become if and when the money multiplier finally shoots higher. If prior examples of hyperinflation are any indication, this will not be a seamless or smooth process, which is why aside from the traditional calls for hyperinflation as a result of a collapse in the faith of the monetary system as a whole, many are also calling for this outcome should the Fed, paradoxically, stabilize the economy. And it is about to get worse: the Fed's balance sheet is likely about to grow by another $2 trillion as soon as QE 2 is announced. Which means that by the time the economy needs to remove excess liquidity, the Fed will need to find a way to remove not $2Bn, but probably double that number. The simple conclusion is that the longer the Fed fights deflation, the greater the likelihood for (hyper) inflation as the final outcome once it ultimately rights the economy. We tend to think that Odysseus was faced with an easier choice.

Welcome to the war everyone. Brazil is the first country to publicly announce what people who follow what the central banks around the world are doing already know.

The race to the bottom has officially begun.

Brazil Confirms What Everyone Knows: "A Currency War Has Broken Out" ZeroHedge via The Financial Times.

From ZeroHedge
From the FT: "An “international currency war” has broken out, according to Guido Mantega, Brazil’s finance minister, as governments around the globe compete to lower their exchange rates to boost competitiveness." Welcome to the new frontline. It is being played out at every 500x levered FX trade station. No prisoners are taken as those wounded are immediately shot. And the incursions have now entered stocks and bonds. Trading any assets is now retaliation against a central bank somewhere (most typically at Liberty 33 or at the Marriner Eccles building) which is engaged in open warfare against the world's middle class. And yes, the Brazil Central Bank earlier announced that it was heading unto the breach, buying yet more dollars for 1.7094 reais at auction, and has bought as much as $1 billion USD each day for the past two weeks, putting the Japanese intervention from two weeks ago to shame.

Quoted from the FT article
Mr Mantega’s comments in São Paulo on Monday follow a series of recent interventions by central banks, in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan in an effort to make their currencies cheaper. China, an export powerhouse, has continued to suppress the value of the renminbi, in spite of pressure from the US to allow it to rise, while officials from countries ranging from Singapore to Colombia have issued warnings over the strength of their currencies.

“We’re in the midst of an international currency war, a general weakening of currency. This threatens us because it takes away our competitiveness,” Mr Mantega said. By publicly asserting the existence of a “currency war”, Mr Mantega has admitted what many policymakers have been saying in private: a rising number of countries see a weaker exchange rate as a way to lift their economies.

Well, I'm going to stock up on some more peanut butter.
