Will traces of rubbing alcohol kill plant?

not sure how to explain this, I was getting ready to flush my mother plant, just sprayed and wiped down my watering can with rubbing alcohol, prepared my water, phing it in a second pale then without rinsing off my watering can, filled it up and began flushing. I had wiped the whole can down so there wasnt any liquid left, just didnt rinse it off like i usually do. I have heard of alcohol causing plants to dry up and die, but not sure if this dilluted amount would have the same affect, my watering can is 2 qts, plant is in a one gallon pot, flushed the plant with a gallon and a half, so the first 2 qts was the only one that really had any alcohol trace left in it, will this trace amount of alcohol have any bad affect on my plant?

alcohol is bad and iso alcohol is even worst (rubbing alcohol). if you are flushing already though it my not be too bad, esp if you added more clean water after. really depends on what medium you are using. i would just watch your plants and not make that mistake again
good luck

Its not going to hurt anything, there wasn't enough alcohol plus its diluted with the water. No worries it'll be fine. just pay attention and don't smoke to much before gardening.LOL!!!!!

i had some mites on outdoor pants a while back, someone here said use iso alcohol diluted 50-50 with water and spray it on the mites,
I was leary but always willing to try something new so I did it on a 6" section
of a smited:)D) branch, no harm to the plant at all surprisingly.

the trace amounts your talking about definitely won't hurt a thing

if yuo had wiped it all off ( so it basically was dry ) then im sure then any trace amounts woudl have already evaporated before you put your water in... even if it didnt like those guys said.. such a small amount doubt it would do any harm at all
