Yeah, if they had roots they'd be clones, but I suck at cloning so in my opinion they are still just cuts. I also keep them at a separate location so they don't tally up. The basement itself is legal, under the limits etc, no worries there. But yeah I do have a shitload of clones, and I need to go take another 3-400 before my moms take over the room and eat the babies! lol

Oh, saw a good bumper sticker today:

Gerald R. Ford, who said, "A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have."

Thanks Skiz, we did 32 plants yesterday, and have 6-7 trimmers stripping off leaves to feed the trim reaper. Bought 2 more hanging racks as we filled 4 of the 6 I had in one day! Took some pics, will post later. Back to clipping now! :)

Hey folks, and we're back in business!

Worked 48 hours of the last 96, we cut everything down, trimmed it and racked it (had to buy more racks, went from 6 to 10) and we filled all but one shelf with sticky purple nugs. That took 6 trimmers roughly 24 hours, should be between 10-15# total.

After that we cleaned up the room, shop vacuumed the whole lot and fixed some blumat lines, dumped and flushed the reservoirs. Moved the ~50 plants stuffed into the first (only remaining) row of lights and spread them out to 8 lights. That was a fun night.

Next day we started by transplanting a ton of rooted clones into 4" pots, transplanted all the big Jackpots in veg from 2g to 5g pots, and the previous batch of 4" pots into 2g pots. Whew! After that we cleaned everything up and rearranged the girls in the mom room, veg room and flower. Mixed all new nutes for all 4 flower barrels.

What a night! I'm so freakin tired, now back at my day job, but at least its office work.

So the flower room is now full of:

Row 1 (4.5 weeks flower) mostly Jackpots, with 1 WOW and 1 Grape Stomper
Row 2 (4.5 weeks flower) Half Space Bomb and half purple mr Nice.
Row 3 (flipped 9/20) All Jackpot
Row 4 (flipped 9/20) Mostly Jackpot, 1 Blue Dragon and 2 Grape Apes.

So roughly 3/4 of the room is Jackpot. The first row is about 5' tall, and the 50 we brought in last night are all about 5' tall already! I supercropped them so they don't hit the ceiling.

So we got the turnaround time down to 48 hours from the last of the chop to the new plants filling it in, not too shabby. Gotta keep it on schedule ya know? ;)

Work work work....

Thanks Catman! I will be heading over tonight to take another 200 clones and will try to take some pics, it's already a jungle in flower with all these 4-5' tall Jackpots everywhere!

The veg room has a mix of both new and older babies:

Older: Mostly Grape Stomper and Jackpot babies
Newer: Had MUCH better luck cloning this time (I soaked the RW slabs in physan, Eagle20, Dynagro KLN and a bit of Superthrive)

44 Grape stomper
36 Blue Dragon
24 WOW
28 Purple Gorilla
6 Purple AK
8 Grape Ape

Lots of babies, way more than I need. They got put into 4" pots of FFOF yesterday but this gives me plenty of options next time I transplant. I always cull the weakest and scragglier plants, and flower only the biggest and best ones. ;)

Thanks SML! I think you'll like them, Blumats aren't perfect, but I think they're better than most of the systems available, and are about the only system that lets plants drink as much or as little as they want.

Hehe sometimes I feel like I live in my grow, so there ya go! ;)

Thanks man, much appreciated! Yeah i try to keep it goin like a clock, takes a lot of planning, hehe.

Hey found my harvest notes from last crop, here was the yields:

Grandaddy urkles in 2g pots of 3 month old ffof, about 2 feet tall, 25 of them yielded 1069 grams, or an average of 1.5 oz each.

2 purple mr nice moms in 3 month old ffof, 4g plastic pots., about 4' tall, 4.5 oz each.

I did a side by side run of 4' tall jackpots, 2g smartpots vs 4g plastic pots , the 15 in smaller pots yielded a total of 690 grams, or savg 1.61 oz each. The 6 that we transplanted into fresh ffof at the flip into hard 4g pots yielded 708 gr, or an avg of 4.14 oz ea.

Surely the fresh soil had an impact, but the rootspace helps too. Hard to say how +uch is food and how much is root space. All i know is i have a room full of new 5' tall Jackpots in fresh ffof in 5g smartpots. Shooting for 6oz each. :) they sure are heavy feeders!

Sounding great.. but where's the looks? Haha .. Throw down!

I'm curious about your drying process, can you tell me all the details i.e. room size + temp/humid + fans/no fans + controlled/natural etc.

I use hangers and fill a standard size house closet with a small fan in the lower corner. Give it about 4-6 days and when the buds start to snap off the stem, i shuck em' into a bucket and then vent that bucket for about 15min every day (for a week or two). My OG always turns out phenomenal this way, with a sweet aromatic bouquet of pine and mint..

P.s. Just chopped my 4 lights of master and platinum OG (?), gotta go finish the last few hangers right now. But with only a 3.5 x 3.5 area per light plus 2 light timer failures in weeks 5 + 6, i think i'll still get almost a pound per light which for these strains is average. Only leaves me to wonder what i might have gotten without the damn photo-period blunders..

Cheers!

Yeah I know man, haven't had time to snap pics yet, will be heading over there tomorrow night with the camera and emptying the drying racks.

Drying room is a small room off the main flower room, so the humidity is pretty close to flower (under 55% RH, usually 45-50%.) I use a pair of oscillating fans to stir the air and hit the racks, the racks are in a horseshoe shape so the fans hit them all. Temp is between 70-82* tops. Room size is about 12'X6' wide, about 5.5' ceilings (ten racks and a few boxes is all the room will hold, with room to access them all.)

Once the buds come out of the racks i dump the product into big rubbermaid tubs, and start the curing/burping process. At first I shake and burp the tubs every couple hours, then over the next couple days do it less and less.

Once I'm happy with the smell and cure, I take an empty tub, cover the top with a big hunk of hardware cloth (wire mesh with 3/8" openings) and pour the bud through it. What falls through is mine to keep, the stuff that stays on top gets weighed and vacuum sealed for my patients.

Good luck on the crop! I will post weights as soon as I'm done processing it. ;)
