It may be 'just a thin bush' but that baby looks beautiful. She's gonna get fat, I mean just look at that 21 day cola :dance013:

Nice job Leon and thanks for stopping by Nick Sand.

Always a pleasure!

So it looks like that last plant I was unsure about is a female. She's throwing hairs out on the top and starting to bud. It's rather strange though, I saw male looking flowers down on the lower buds when I sexed her last week. And when I looked today, they are still there, slightly larger, and no pistils coming out of the end, but male looking preflowers for sure.

There's is no doubt she's a female though, as all her top growth is very lady like...

I'm kinda curious if there are any cases where a plant can show a male flower or two on the bottom and end up being a nice female plant... Maybe just a bit stressed?? I'm not quite sure, but another female is not a bad thing whatsoever :comfort:

Pics later this weekend, but we now have 9 different casey jones females in hopes of finding a keeper...

Rock on,

Yo! Things are looking good, bro!

I have been out for a bit. Got fired, quit smokin, blah blah blah.

Also in the process of upgrading my system from 1-400W & 1-600W to 5-1000W. It is a serious undertaking ie. new electrical service, new main panel, new 50 amp drop to tha basement. . .woo! it will be killer when i finish & CJ is gonna have front row seats in the stadium.

i wont be able to do the CJ grow with ya, which sucks. what is on deck for your next run?

I like to think things happen for a reason. I'm sure you're bound to stumble onto it soon, and things will be looking up. The 5 new 1000 watters are a damn good place to start. Best of luck bro!

The caseys are still stretching, but I think we should have some nice buddage here soon to keep you entertained till your stadium is up and running. And I just collected my first little packet of casey jones pollen...

Next run will be more casey jones, sour bubble, and some killer chem freebies I popped a couple weeks ago :moon: Mama huntin' still

Hey everyone. So we are on day 21 of flower today. Mine don't look quite like yours Leon, but they were flowered a bit young and I went to town with the defoliation. Your CJ is much further along. Mine are slow to start budding, but they are just about to explode, and are winding up the stretch now...

There's already some plants that look a bit above and beyond the rest. It's hard to get individual shots cause they are all on a continuous screen. So here's a couple shots, a few close ups, and a shot of my favorite girl at this point... CJ 5...

This is CJ 1

In the front of the picture is the surprise female, CJ 9

Some cola.... a tad blurry

CJ 6 and 7 I believe...

CJ 5!!!!!!

Finally we have the open pollination. All the males have had their flowering tops cut. They sit in a cup of water and I am waiting for some pollen to drop. I'll be keeping the males under a 20w flouro in my veg area until I see those seeds forming... Not counting any chickens here. :moon:

And the surrogate ladies :dance013:

I found a nanner on CJ 8. Way down on her backside, at one of the bottom nodes. Plucked him before he got the chance to pop. I have real males for that :tiphat:

I've been on the lookout but haven't found any more:dance013:

They are starting to turn on the flower production now!

8 different casey jones moms here. There's one more I threw in a cup of coco. She looks like she rooted, the roots just haven't made their way to the bottom of the beer cups. These things veg like rockets compared to my sour bubble... It's wonderful.

I plan on doing CJ round 2 with these, and flipping them the first week of October. I'm really trying to narrow down this mama search :dance013:

They will get a repot tonight, 2 weeks more veg, and another repot again at the flip. I'm thinking of doing 3 or 5 gal grow bags a try this round for the final size....

As far as the other CJ, they are just under 4 weeks. Might as well be 3 with the little growth stunt at the beginning, but they are looking pretty. Shots of them later this weekend... The stretch was pretty nuts on these girls, and they are still growing vertically.

Here's some updates of the ladies flowering. Day 28 of 12/12

They certainly like to stretch :moon:

I snapped some shots right before the lights flipped on. They've filled up the screen very nicely... I'm getting some lemony smells, and some funky/musty smells, and some sweet fruity smells. Quite the aromas and variety

there's some great trich coverage on a few also. I'm seeing lines of trichs up the main stem. Not just hairy stems, but glandular heads. I don't know how I can expect myself to pick out a keeper... Hell, I may just keep going with the seeds and start making some selections. Keep them all in one sense or another ;)

And one of my expecting mamas getting ready to start throwing out the pistils... Did I mention they like to stretch??? Especially in less than ideal light conditions on the floor .

ooooh baby... you are in for a hell of a treat im sure.

i got some 5 week (today) photos of mine if you are still interested....i can post them tomorrow.

Lookin good fellas! Love me some casey. Ive been running Schmoes cut myself. Really interested to see some of the phenos yall find as Ive never run Casey From seed. She will def do some stretching on you. Flower onset is slow, but after 4-5 weeks in flowers will explode, and wont stop til the end. Once she thinks shes put on her swell, she swells double the size.. The cut im running is a notorious yielder, and i couldnt be happier with this girl. She can get a bit obese and needy in the space department, but I will forever have a spot for her in my garden :D best of luck guys. I will throw up some shots my outdoor CJ this week.

Thanks for stopping by guys! Any pictures, please feel free to post them. It's the CJ grow along after all!!

I figured there would be a few others with their seed packs on the forums, but I'm very interested in the clones out there too. I want to see the finest specimens and use it to help my selection process and anyone else who may get to grow the CJ.

Casey Jones (Schmoe Cut)

Casey Jones (Schmoe Cut)

Here's some shots of my Casey Jones as promised. These are outdoor shots of the Joe Schmoe Cut. These plants are kinda deformed after vegging all winter long indoors. One of them had the entire top die out, but the lower branches are flourishing now. The plants are pretty ugly but the flowers a beautiful. Right now the trichs are really starting to take over, and shes smelling light sweet baby shit :p

Nice tentoes!!! They look right around the age as mine. They have that look to them, the "lets get this bud growth on" look. All the white pistils bursting everywhere. It gets me excited for things to come

:thank you:

I just came back and pulled another ball sack off CJ 8. That's two sacks for her, and I found a new one on CJ 6. 3 ball sacks total, and they are all on bottom nodes. Hopefully there won't be any hermie issues, but I've got a watchful eye ....

Im stoked for these girls. I will get them down so next years grow is a little more successful. Im going for 6 Ft+ Shrubs outdoors next season. Nomore small plants for me. Im going straight from 4" pots to 10 gal pots. NOmore messin around w these. BEst of luck with man do your thing. I will be watching
