In my experience, anything with azatrol or neem tends to taste real nasty when smoked. It is a very oily substance and will stay on buds if it has been used properly and effectively. And there is no way you can keep it on the leaves and off the buds. No way.
And some neem oils are so dilute they are not very effective.

I have found the Spinosad is the way to go in mid-late flower. Can't taste it even if not washed off, but it will come right off with a light spraying of the plant. Neem and others tend to stay when washed.
Just getting the bugs wet with Spinosad will bring there demise even though it's claim to fame is killing them by their ingesting it. But it does nothing to eggs so a couple or so repeat treatments is due every 3-4 days.

You can get azamax or trol at ur hydro store, i dunno about The tastes of them, I hear azamax kills pistils, just found that out, Also i just toked some plants doused in neem pretty much up until harvest, they were dried 3 days, theyre soaking nuggets (friend didnt dry right) they dont tear up and when pinched theyre pretty much brick, and THEY TASTED just like they were supposed to, bubba kush, no harsh taste aside from the fact they werent dried, the shit was super smooth, and unflushed too, thats my only exp with taste and i didnt notice a thing, but Id believe someone whos as sure about it as baba is.

Also i dont use and havent usedd spinosad, someone reccomended it specifically for caterpillars and i chose a bacillus T.instead because I heard spinosad fucked with honey bee populations and Im just a hippy like that, dont think its cool to harm bees we need them for pollination, lol.:tiphat:

I wouldn't try to use a mitacide outdoors. Natural predators do the work there.
Balance is key in the wild, IMO. Not many honey bees are harmed in the indoor grow. :)

LOL duh my bad baba... I just flower outdoor so I assume with the bugs and since im having bug probs... yeahh i think the bee population in ur room will be fine haha.

Dank when I bought some bt for my caterpillar problem the other day I told the dude at the hydro store whom I really trust that I was going to spray with azamax as well as the bt, he said not to and that Azamax would burn pistils, he said this after I told him SM 90 kicked my pistils ass about 40 days into a 70 day flower "my only indoor flower" when i sprayed trying to fight PM. I dont know firsthand if azamax does the same.. Its from neem oil, neem doesnt burn pistils as far as i know.

Neem oil is made from the oils of the Azadirachta indica tree.
The azadirachtin oil content is often very different from one neem product to the next, some being very weak and not able to really rid a mite problem well, although may work well for a powdery mold issue. Others have lots of the oil and is very effective on mites.

Neem, azomax, azotropo, anything with the words neem or azadirachtin are all the same thing, but with differing concentrations of azadirachtin oil.

BTW, I use neem oil as a preventative of both mites and PM during veg and into flower.
Once flower takes I will use Spinosad if needed.
Spinosad is only going to be detrimental to bees if they actually ingest the product while it's wet. Once it is dry, they won't be able to get it because they do not ingest any of the vegetative material of the plant. So there is only a very small window of opportunity for bees to be harmed. If you had say a dozen plants sprayed outdoors, how long would it take to dry? A person worried about a bee or two could surely shoe em off for a few minutes? Yeah, it may harm a bee, but really what could it possibly do to a population unless you sprayed a hive? But I don't know, maybe your outdoor grow is big enough that you need a big industrial sprayer on the back of a tractor?

Another good thing about spinosad is that it can work systemically, so you can actually treat your feed water with some and it will provide a nasty treat for a mite to eat from the inside of the plant.

Spraying late into flower can cause moisture buildup in your buds which can lead to bud rot. Ve been putting my azatrol into my DWC tank and the plants drink it up.

due your gona be fine!!

Spray your girls down with azamax and sit back and relax :) that early into flower unless your room is HIGH with RH already your not going to have a mold issue...

your fine.. not pistal damage I have used azamax on pure haze 10 weeks into flower and didnt taste it a week later... one time i sprayed bubblegum @30 days of flower I had webs around buds after a week snowboarding trip... azamax saved them and IT TASTED GREAT... just pluggin a good product that has kept me grown for better green :)

JUST MY 2 cents
