Mr Nice SSH or Rez Sour Diesel?

Hey hey,

Seeing both blow the budget I can only get one. What do you all think?

I'm really split 50/50 as I wanted to do some breeding/hacks :D with the SD, but shanti gives you 18 seeds instead of 10...

check out my ssh in my album...I don't have pics of the finished keeper with a cure, but I do have an example in my album. This is one of the non keepers..and yes the keeper was better from seed and clone...I made sure the plant DNA was fully mature, I've made the mistake of throwing out a winner, finding out that the 2nd or 3rd run which included a discontinued phenotype, ended up being superior to my original selection. I have an Agent Orange which did this, I kept the 2 girls and the clear winner from seed, was lackluster when it came from clone and the other didn't perform as a seedling, was superior in everyway when it came from clone...but I learned my lesson prior to this, and now I have an Agent Orange that smells like fresh orange peel and it has a wonderful lemon juice scratchiness in your throat when you exhale. SSH is generally a stronger experience...and it sounds like you know, but don't buy the Greenhouse SSH, it's fake and it's a failed attempt to duplicate something great. It's kind of like Street Vendors and that Rolex you got for only $1000, really says "Romex" upon further inspection.
I can vouch for MNS SSH, but I can't on the Sour Diesel IBL, although Karma deemed it worthy to run, I won a pack of San Fernando Diesel from Karma, thats SD IBL x SFV OGK...dying to run that....also in my album is Sour P, which has the SD clone as the mom, but it Sour Diesel dom...might get an idea of what it looks like....hit my link below...hope this helps your difficult decision , HSS

I know im most likely gonna be the minority opinion hear...but if thats the only two choices I would go with Mr. Nice.I think Mr. Nices strains would have a better chance of being stable.

Can anyone who has experience with both SSH and SD comment/compare the highs of the 2 hybrids?
Because, errr, you know what Nevile says, that they are actually the same hybrid :) With Jack Herrer being yet another name of the same cross. I'm not really sure about that, as the JH versions I know are somewhat different (more positive high) than the SSH I've smoked and grown, but it might be just my chance with phenos in the low number of plants.

Nice choice of strains. It would be hard to choose really but it all depends on preferences. Sour D is extremely pugnent and requires serious odor control on where SSH probally is more on the lower side. Both are heavy Sativa dominant well bred strains. Sour D is nice for breeding experiments adding flavor and potency. Go with what you think is best for you. I've never tried SSH so I can't tell you much on it but Sour D I have.

I can't imagine he was talking about sour diesel when he said that about diesel being the same as ssh and jh. Maybe the diesel that nycd was parented by?

Could be that diesel, yes. I don't remember exactly which diesel he was talking about, I'm not into diesels and don't make much difference :)
Anyways, it would be great if we hear someone's experience with growing and smoking both SD and SSH.

Nevil was talking about soma's diesel not sour diesel

I totally agree with the idea that you need to run SSH from clone or fully mature seed plant before deciding if it's a keeper or not but just needed to point out it's the plants sexual maturity (as in alternating nodes along with preflowers) that you're looking for not the maturity of the DNA.

MNS SSH 18 seeds for $150

SD IBL 10 seeds for $200

Your SSH seeds doesn't germ get a free replacement pack

Your SD seeds doesn't germ, might as well shit in your hat.

To me that would be a no brainer, SSH is a legend of legends.
