Looking for guerillas with leaf spot diease experience.

and for the most part it seems to work from the bottom up or from where a limb is attached to the main stalk it will be bad but the tip of the limb is vibrant. the newest foilage looks pretty good until this shit gets ahold and kills it all. dry weather is key to keeping this stuff in check. good luck and peace-biteme

Yes that is a big part of it!As long as you dont have any rain yours look like they are gonna do just fine but we have had rain then heat then rain then heat!That shit spreads like wildfire in those conditions and it gets BAD!These are coming back together thanks to DS for finding out about the liquid copper!I could not have made it without it man!

Whodair I think they have about 4 weeks to go myself.This was shanti's early skunk but it is not really that early.i mean last week of sept is good but I have one pheno of his critical mass that I cropped a week ago and all the others are gonna come down in a couple weeks.But these ladies are definitely packing on the meat right now.All of them have twisted and I am having a time trying to keep them tied up since I grew them pulled over.

Hey brother they look great and thanks for the feedback about liquid copper. Looked around at a couple of places no luck finding yet but haven’t tried very hard either. I have get some though.
Its really nice to find out there is some hope for this war.
Keep us updated I am interested in the CM I thought about that strain years ago but heard mold was a problem???

The black spot APPEARS to be under control on all plants. Even the worse two little white russians might yield an oz or two.
The one problem that still has me bamboozled is the number of leaves that appear to just wilt and die. No yellowing, just a spot of decay on the collapsed leaf stem.

I think you can hold the shit back, but once it's in a plant, there is no cure. It's done. I threw out all the veg plants that had any hint of that stuff and my flowering plant will be completely defoliated by this stuff by the time it nears maturity, I'm sure there will be some loss of yield.
My other 2 flowering plants that are right next to the inflected plant have not become infected themselves, but that's indoors where I can keep them happy...

You are probably are already familiar with this and this is just an educated guess.
From what I read some of the leaf spot/blight can attack the stem of the leaf (stem cankers) and that could be causing the signs you are seeing. I have never personally seen this on the leaves but on the buds I do. I see it attack the small stems with in the bud causing that portion of the flower (aprox 1 inch spot) to die.
If you have any buds with dead spots look inside and it’s usually the stem a little further down that has been attacked.
This could be similar to what happens to you leaves but again just guessing because mine act typically with the spots becoming larger until they kill the leaf.

Hamstring: I think you are prolly right on. My guess is that not EVERY stem got completely sprayed on all sides and that has allowed bacteria to survive and thrive.

You are very fortunate whodair!But i am fortunate to know a man called DS toker because the dern liquid copper saved me.I have not treated any more with it in a month and all signs of that fungus are gone!That shit is a must for the guerilla grower as I think this nasty fungus is here to stay!thank YOU DS!!!!!OH and I had resin out the ass on my critical masses but they still got that shit jsut like every other strain I planted!

That’s the shit the close up pic shows how devastating it can be. I would spray with Liquid copper if your conditions call for heat, humidity/rain. Like many others the disease tapered off when the heat and humidity went down in Sept but not before it took out a couple of my plants.
Seen more incidents of leaf spot this year than any other.

iagree with you hamstring. 100%. i never had a problem with this and this year it came on but i did nothing and the plant slowed down drastically and didnt give me wht it should have. i have plant next to it which started getting attacked but may make it by finish. this disease really got me this year and if it stays in the soil over winter then it must be treated. i have to go thru this thread but i guess the copper juice is the way to go.

Started using 3% hydrogen peroxide spray when the leaf spot hit 1 of my plants at beginning of Aug. Lost bottom half of leaves. One tsp per 16 oz of water. Stopped it from spreading further. Also used 1/4 cup per gallon as systemic. Have sprayed it weekly since on all girls. A few spots have appeared on some leaves but they haven't died.
The weather has been drier with less humidity. I spray after a rain. With only 2 weeks until harvest, I will use it to prevent/combat any mold/rot that may appear.
Maybe I just got lucky with the changing weather instead of the hydrogen peroxide. But I'm going to apply it to soil at site before planting season next year to see if it kills the soil borne fungus causing this devastation.

Hamstring this is a great thread with a ton of knowledge being shared. They should really make this a sticky I think a lot of growers deal with this problem. It's killed and maimed so many of my plants before I knew what the problem was and how to fight it.
