What strains are the most LEMON tasting and smelling? Just pure lemon!

I grow Lemon Verbena (actual culinary/medicinal herb) and when rubbed it produces a better lemony smell than...well...lemons! If only I could get that smell into some bud!

i grew leda uno it has a very stong lemon candy smell & taste i believe it comes from the kc33....also nirvana seeds citral, hindu kush & master kush was strong lemon with some phenos had a hint of hash & a relaxing high/stone

Thanks for the great replies everyone always wanted to try the Leda Uno strain but never got around to it years ago. I really am interested in the lemon aromatics and their medicinal effects that seem to correlate to one another. I already have the grapefruit thing covered 110% so I am on the hunt for the lemon now.

What you want is lemon thai.

The original came from dutch flowers, a few other seed companies have offerings that are based on that line...

Any leads on these in a pure seed form that is available today? I love anything Thai, such a wonderful high.

Not to highjack the thread but........ im lookin for a lemon pheno also. And was wondering if the GHS Lemon Skunk or Lemon Skunk haze come in regular form and not Fem beans?

The lemon skunk from GHS has some nice fruity lemony phenos. I grew out a pack of ten and most of them had a slight lemon aroma and taste. Out of those I remember one quick finishing indica leaner that smelled exactly like fruity pebbles and another with a strong lemon taste and skunky smell. At the time they were going for $40 on the boo, so well worth the price.

LIMONENE is found in the rinds of citrus and many other fruits and flowers. It is the second, third or fourth most prevalent terpene in cannabis resins. Everyone is familiar with the odor of citrus resins. They explode into the air when a fruit is peeled. The exact order is determined by the structure of the terpene.

no contest-leda uno from kcbrains. i have done kc33 more than once but never even a hint of lemon? very good strain though if i could find seeds that would germ for sure i am with her again. i have lemon thai in the corn right now so will let you know in a month or so. pax-biteme

Fantastic post, have read much of that in various places about Limonene and I know my favorite strain has plenty of it in there. I believe it is responsible for the anti-depressive qualities in many fine strains of Cannabis that have citrus qualities to them. Great pics too you just totally forced me to go in the jar and pack a bowl of frosty Tooth! Props!

Mandala's Ganesh is citrusy when freshly dried. After a couple of months in the jar a real pleasant undertone of skunkyness develops, but the citrus still dominates.
