hey all,
i started a ten pack of querkle, 9 germed and broke soil, two failed to break out of their shell. i also germed 1 out of six seeds i found in my favorite chemdog double d pheno (R.I.P.). out of seven Querkle i ended up with three females.
grown in five gallons of FFOF soil under a 1K digital next gen ballast, in a sealed flower room with a 12,000 btu portable dual hose A/C, and Co2 at 1600ppm off and on due to tank running out. topdress of PSG during veg, watered with PUR filtered water, hygrozyme and the occasional mollases. during bloom i topdressed with some sol po mag, bone meal, and earth worm casting; except the CDD x SDL. i also used some Jam Bat Guano later
i vegged until preflower which took almost 50 days, topping twice once after 6-8 nodes and then imediately again on the two new tops. creating about 6 tops per plant. took clones off the lower branches and ushered them into bloom along with the Chemdd seed; which i had hoped was a selfed seed but i figured out a lil while into bloom, some herm pollen from a strawberry dlite must have violated my lady.
the first couple weeks were hot as i didnt have the A/C hooked up and i over nuted them by feeding with some humboldt nutrients organic bliss line, when the 5 gallons of FFOF where hot enough for a while. the CDD x SDL took it real bad turned yellow and didnt really start flowering, more less put on resin. i thought it might be deficient at first and almost made it worse then began using just filtered water. it has taken nearly 4 weeks but it is finally coming out of it. the querkles were not as badly effected by it except for the #3 the space queen dom sativa leaning pheno which yellowed a bit and hasnt quite had the resin production of the other two indica dom querkles.
