The poor have been and will always be discriminated against. If everyone embraced poverty and loved their fellow man like that dude in the beard on the tree suggested, we'd have no poor!

But nobody wants to do that. Everybody wants to be selfish and special and make the 'right' decisions for everyone else.

And as long as that's the case, the poor are going to be there as a stick to go with the carrot of fame and fortune.

So let's go ahead and legalize weed, mmmm'kay?

This sounds dumb but Prop 19 isn't legalization. It is decriminalization.

Sometimes it takes one person to stand up and that effects change.
We often shunn those who go against the tide.
I remember not too long back on ICMag how I was laughed at for suggestion we could Legalize.
It ain't gonna happen.. Your an idiot and so on was what I got.

I see that is still happening today.

So what has changed.. Different day different Conformity is expected but the same psychology.

I am very aware of the "Step Forward" concept of Prop 19. It's that I don't have faith in my fellow Icmaggers to be there later much like they were not there sooner.

I'd love to be wrong but most folks place the minimum bet on the favorite to show in most "Horse races."

So being in California I will have to live with any laws passed and My opinion from the Central Valley is a Valid and honest one. Like it or not.

So friends.. Lets here how you are making a difference.

Thank Anti... I do feel better today...

You know what would be really unfair jack?
Telling property owners they had no say in what kind of activities their rental property could be used for.

If you'd put 1/4 of the energy you use turbo posting lame excuses into developing a plan for cashing in on 19 when it passes, you'd be a rich man in no time.

It's coming jack, nothing you can do about it, so instead of sitting here crying all day, start making a plan, or you will be left behind and out of work when no one wants your $60 1/8s anymore.

A massive load of lemons is coming, we're all busy building lemonade stands, what are you doing?

Man look at a Pro-Cannabis guy getting ripped for suggesting more freedom for cannabis people.

What part of California do you live in?

I'd like to know more about what your area is like. Please share.. Maybe I can move there.

Remember assuming things makes an ASS out of U and ME.

I don't sell. I am a medical person who has struggled for over 10 years to have medical garden in one of the Most Conservative counties in California.
I can document my online life for the past 8 years in grow forums.

So tell me about you.

Since you are brave enough to bash me and I am brave enough to be out of the closet and living my Cannabis life in the open why don't you come out of the closet today too?

All of you stop being so afraid and come out of the Cannabis Closet.

Wow.. we are always so brave behind a keyboard.

well they were gonna ban the 215 guy for putting his name out there. i dont think you can out yourself on icmag. i think if you are a business and pay for advertising then you can do whatever you want at that point, being that your name is part of your business.

Nice! And not behind a tree either!

Oh and jack...it's not decriminalization. It can't be if it is regulated.

19 does LEGALIZE marijuana.

It legalizes the possession of cannabis
It legalizes the cultivation of cannabis
It legalizes the commercial growing and selling of cannabis

If your going to be so anal as to correct people on calling this prop a bill, then take heed my friend. 19 DOES legalize! It will be legal for Joe Blow to have a sack in his pocket. It will be legal for Joe Blow to grow pot in his back yard. It will be legal for Joe Blow to drive around with a sack on his front seat and there is NOTHING a cop could do about it. Sounds pretty legal to me.

This sounds dumb but Prop 19 isn't legalization. It is decriminalization.

Decriminalization is saying, "We will no longer go after you for breaking the law."

Legalization is saying, "Under these specific conditions, you will no longer be breaking the law."

Which would you say this is?

I'm not talking Federal law... just state law. We all know that Fed law is going to take a while longer.

I'm sure there are other gay members on this site. It doesn't come up much in the sorts of conversations I'm involved in, but do your thing!

I honestly don't think anyone here will be satisfied with the 5 by 5 area. As I said earlier, use this to get your toe in the door and then force it open......

The 5x5 does suck some big balls for sure. However, they did need to put in a minimum...to protect our growing rights. Then they left it open for cities, counties or even the state to increase the area.

I see it as a half empty vs. half full kind of thing.

Our forefather's help to screw the gifts this wonderful plant has to offer for not only the USA but the entire fucking world... So please let's all get on board the love train... Peace and puffs :blowbubbles:

Any war has causalities that is my point. Many will want to ride the freedom train but don't want to risk their lives to fight for the freedom train.

I see that this last week my connection to ICmag has stopped prompting my Mozilla to automatically provide my username and password.
This has only happened when I have used a proxy before.
So I assume my connect is going through a secondary now.
Something Mozilla knows isn't Icmag.

We all take risks.. Don't pussy.

get active get real.. Fight the fight!

If we help people to learn to stand up and know the difference between Legalization and Decriminalization.

Many don't

If you were growing a roomful of tomatoes in your spare bedroom using 1000s of watts of HID lighting that you had cobbled together yourself your landlord might very well take issue with it - and be well within his/her rights.

I feel where you're going. But I'll take "legal as long as my landlord is cool with it" over "illegal even though my land lord is cool with it."

Wasn't he the one that said he recently learned the difference between decriminalization and legalization? Seems he really might not have. And if it were actually decriminalization someone please tell that to grapeman hahaha!

Either way jack if it's in prop 19 or not these landlords still have the right to do such. Prop 19 merely mentions it possibly to help clear up any confusion or worry if it weren't. What you're asking for is changing laws concerning real estate not cannabis or horticulture laws so please end it. Lastly IMHO I don't think most landlords will mention much or anything about it in a contract or otherwise unless they're totally not ok with it. Most of these contracts and landlords most likely aren't going to say much either way concerning growing cannabis. They have bigger concerns firstly you paying rent to begin with.

5x5 is perfect size to introduce someone to marijuana horticulture with one 1000w light.

Only the most ambitious growers will produce 'enough' in their space to satisfy their desires all year round.
